Then simply block them. It is easy and anyone can do it. The site appears to be working as intended. It has/is being tested by several people with no problems. If you are still having issues please search out how to clear your browser cache and follow the instructions.

As we all know some members have issues with admins and they think by showing their backsides whenever possible that it makes them look cool to others. I disagree. The only person who makes money off this site is the owner, no matter who starts what rumor and repeats it. By starting rumors and repeating them to all who will listen does not make them true or accurate. Oh and to be blunt it takes a lot of money to pay for the bandwidth, equipment, graphics, site development and a professional database specialist to make it all work.

If you are annoyed by the audio ads then simply mute your volume or turn it down while on PDB.

Can I just have my 2 cents on the other issues touched on in this
thred ?   I don't begrudge Oli a penny he makes from running this
 site,  but IS it just Oli we are dealing with now ? I am always grateful
to Oli for the site, and, yes, to the admins team for moderating (even
when not 100% happy about their actions/ decisions).  I fully expect
many other users feel the same way.  Oli has on at least some past
occasions warned us when the site was going to be tweeked and might
then play up;  there does not appear to have been any hint at all that
this was going on, this time.

I second the instruction to those guys who find the ads intrusive to use
their Mute button.  I have not yet had any problem with noisy ads (that
I've noticed ) but I will be adjusting my sound control if I do, is no big
deal.  Yes we have increasingly had more ads to put up with / try to
see around [!] on PDB in recent months ...  but this site is WAY better than
some, still, for the intrusiveness of advertising and its a small price to pay
for the facilities IMO.   I just don't read the ads, or click on them, so they
are a waste of time from the advertisers p.o.v. in my case !

Newbie, I feel for ya !  Too sorry to hear about what you have been suffering;
I agree, you should 'block' PMs from people if they are repeatedly nasty;  but
please believe there are still some of us out here who DO appreciate your
input !  So don't get chased off by bullies.

Hundmutter, I agree when the members get a heads up on site tweaks and interruptions it makes us common users feel our input is appreciated! It is much nicer feeling appreciated, I think!

Things seem to be working OK now. I've never got audio pop ups.

I know recently I took a vow that I felt sorry for the two and would leave them alone, but really how long should I stay quiet if I am going to get shit anyway :)

If you feel that you been harrassed....exercise your will power and do not log in or read posts.....simple...no one is holding a gun to anyones head here...and guess what you will not get or see any sh*t....why justify or try to prove something to people who do not care? (that is what I do not get)...

I have a golden rule that i follow.....no one will love me more than me, so love and protect yourself first and foremost... so i do not subject myself to things that I do not like...makes my life in this world a lot easier and if i ever become a target of someone here, hell, i am out of here in a split second...they would not care, why should I?

Also, unfortunately sob stories do not work here, no one will feel sorry for you, it is the survival of the fittest, mentally stable, secure and thick skin....its a dog world....

Why would you leave if you are being harassed, legitimately? Isn't that why we have Admins? Otherwise it is the bully who wins? Now, if one pokes the hornets nest, and then you find them chasing you, time to get the big girl panties on and face what you did.

Who wants to be felt sorry for any way? It sucks.

beetree...LOL..we all know you have no complexes and you always have big girl panties on, and you can dish it out and take it...you are not overweight, or socially awkward or nerdy, cr@p rolls off you like a water off a duck.....you get high from making someone face your music...(thats about 5 reasons of why I absolutely adore you!) but not everyone is like that, she is not like that.....her post clearly shows she is a bird of a different breed and for her it is detrimental that is why she is calling it harassment as for you this would have been a competition of who has a better/wittiest comebacks....
