America has much more problems than Syria need be known about...why is our PRESIDENT trying to fix SYRIA when americans are starving in cities gone bankrupt and states having war here over OBAMACARE and how to elude it..and Americans are living on the edge of a Government shut down and he can only hold Meetings and go spend millions of our tax dollars to try to convince our Congress leaders or Students of dishonesty to start a war for WHY?
Fix America and leave Syria to its own destruction...tHOSE COUNTRIES have fought each other since birth and it won't be fixed by a few drones or a small bombing of some weapons that are fake . Cannot fix Stupid..

I don't meet, see, or hear of a large contingent of US citizens who have the utmost confidence that intervention here is the right course of action, with the vast majority of the world community sharing the same opinion. Yet, our government remains indignant in their quest to impose its will independent of its constituents or international counterparts. To say that this should raise a few eyebrows would be a phenomenal understatement. Unfortunately, the reality points toward rogue government. It has never been, and should never be the role of government to determine the moral and ethical course of a nation, rather, it should merely serve to reflect the will of the people in its administration within the confines of Constitutional law. Policy is to be the expressed will of the people through Congress. Instead, we find that the tables have been turned, with an agenda riddled government seeking to establish its own policy, largely through propaganda, back-room deals, and the manipulation of public opinion through fear-mongering and emotional appeal. Can't wait to hear why we need to get our hands dirty in the ME once again when the President enlightens us tomorrow night. Sort of reminds me in a way of "W" and his WMD appeal.

The man can lie to us because we are ignorant and easy, but he can't pull it off anywhere else.
Now I read that Russia will put pressure on Syria to surrender control over it's chemical weapons.
Makes sense since a large part of Assad's personal wealth is in Russia.

I don't have a misplaced trust in the Russians, but this is actually a brilliant move on their part. Let's see what happens when the the argument revolving around the perceived threat is disarmed by this plan. My guess is, the effort will either be obscured, see its plausibility attacked, or culminate in undermining Russia's role based on questions of motive, even though their chair at the UN Security Council bears striking resemblance to our own, and the motives of the US are equally self-serving.

I think we are more alike than different once you cut through all the bullshit.
Personally I like Putin and I have more respect for the man than I do Obama.
We do not rule the world, and neither do they, this is something the world needs to decide.
I think we've all had enough of the lies.

If they surrender control of there chemical weapons then there is no need for the USA to intervene. or the French for that matter but they will stand down if the USA decide not to go further with it, Mr Obama will be a wise man to not take action if they do surrender the weapons and if he still decides to take action it will not be for the reasons he said in the beginning, and he will not score any brownie points for doing so but cause more problems world wide.

The presuppositions that constitute the foundation of her diatribe are about as stable as a house of cards, not to mention the fact that her motives seem to be almost summarily partisan.
