I prefer to chose with whom I share my personal information. I don't breed, so have no reason to link a kennel to this board. This topic has been discussed here many times and most of those who have been in favor of using "real" names link their kennels here and/or offer dogs for sale so their identity is already known anyway. Easy for them to say.

Make mine a double.

if a person is an A$$...regardless if they use real name or fake they will be just that ...A$$....yes, some of the stupidity will be eliminated with the usage of real names but not all.....

I think what we currently have is working great, i think admins (bless their hearts..which here in the south means ...oh, gosh you are sooo screwed) are a good group, fair, and to the point, not to mention they do give you heads up when posters are crossing the line and that is a lot more than most forums do or tolerate, not to mention admins do participate on threads, they post, laugh, and are real human beings where in some places  your posts just disappear and you get banned w/o a warning .....

This place regardless of the issues still has a human touch to it, people may flare up, may get worked up, and that adds emotion to this place, makes it relatable, takes away the coldness of straight "informative post"..... u can see personalities, u can see the passion regardless of the topic or side of the argument and that is rare in the virtual world.... I like it here and that is why i keep coming back when i have time... :)
