Your right and that's is why I can't agree with Mals having the hardest bites. Dogs are all individuals and hold their own strengths and weaknesses. It's like saying black people are better basketball players. May be the case in some situations but not a "fact". It's not something that holds true always. At what % is something considered a "fact" anyway?

We all have our own opinions, usually based off of experience but everyones experience is different. I base my opinion of my experiences and the thought that, a dog with a smaller jaw, less muscle mass and skull size isn't going to have the best chances at coming out on top, in brute strength. A Bouv, has a big head, allot of jaw muscle, a AB has a massive head and very strong jaw muscles but is lacking in muzzle leangth. Even with a full grip, they can't get the mouthfull that a dog with a longer muzzle can and will. They also have much smaller teeth.

There is so much to think about and compare. I don't think it is even fair to judge them up against a dog of another breed, when it's not feesable to get the psi readings on every dog in 1 breed to get the highest for that breed. They could be showing the weakest Rotti and the strongest Mal. You just don't know, unless you test them all, or a huge amount of them anyway.

I said the 2 hardest bites I ever took...( one was a Malinois)
And that the Malinois is one of the hardest
biting dogs there is.
This does not mean anything other
than it was not what you might expect.

Not all of Gods creatures that bite hard,
are as big as a wolf...And the DDR and
Czech dogs as a rule are very hard biters.
But they were bred that way. I did not take
bites from them with a bite suit, but with
a cuff. And it felt like a wolf bite. But I
am using the German Shepherds that
I did work with in West Germany and the Netherlands.
as a example only.
I will leave the DDR and Czech to someone who has
done more work than me to commit. Someone who has worked those
lines. I see them more as a hybrid GSD....very hard bites.

They say these little guy can bite very hard.
