Now you make me feel bad....I apologize.
If you want to know who I am I can PM
you.....Once you know the truth though
there is know turning back.....
But it will free you and you will have
a more abundant perspective of things.
My family prohibits me from broadcasting
who I am, because of my big mouth,
they are afraid of liability.....
SP..no one thinks you are in my corner
you need not explain yourself. This
is closer to your peer group than to
me if anyone should go, it should be
me.

"Another great video. Very educational and informative.....Please keep sharing your videos here with us, as some of us here, are not bashful to say we want to learn."

with their tails between their legs...
I still remember the time Oli said you hacked his
system. And nobody came out in your defense,
until you were cleared.....Than they all said I
knew you were not guilty...I was the only one
besides Jim that said wait lets not hang him just yet.
It takes thousands of hours of work to train a dog
properly IMO.....But I love the video's like everyone else.
It has been a big benefit to see a sample of dogs you may be
interested in. But more importantly are the people. The players
are the ones I will watch the most. If Ernest tells me he has
some good dogs, or Jurgen...and about 10 others...This is what
I have been waiting for.

I did have a real life experience of someone wanting to do me harm and it was nothing like the staged scenios I see. ( I am speaking in general terms, the the specific videos posted here.) Real life happens in an instant and there is very little time to react or know the right thing to do to protect yourself.
In my case, I was living alone in a small house with just my dog. (A 5 year old GSD with no protection training.) I awake in the night to hear someone breaking into my front door and at the same time see my dog haulin' ass out of the bedroom heading for the door. There was no time to say anything to the dog. A split second later I hear the door open and a split second after that I hear the dog do a full body slam up against the door, breaking the glass window in the door. Then all is quiet. I'm in the bedroom scared out of my wits with no phone. That was the first time I called for the dog and he appears at my bedroom door as calm as can be as if nothing had happened.
I can only surmise based on what I heard that when the intruder opened the door and saw a 120 lb pissed off German Shepherd bearing down on him at warp speed, he changed his mind and slammed the door shut.. So when the dog lunged at him he (the dog) slammed into the door instead.
Would a trained PPD have waited for me to confront the intruder first? How might things have been different with a trained dog? That's a real life senerio I'd like to see.

Do you remember the people who made it a field day and some had popcorn. I remember every single one. Plus I know of at least 5 others that worked behind the scenes. Time will tell and the story will be told. Whether I have to put it up a million times or not people will know what happened and what continues to happen behind the scenes till this day.

you saying F....K you all..!! That's when I said
Oli could be wrong, lets not assume anything.
I also said I don't think SP would do that...
But the topic is drifting a bit...So let me
jump start it again ...By saying all dogs bite.
To understand the civil drive in working dogs
you must stay in a civil zone with the dog while
he is doing the task you have bred him for.

To answer your question, a properly trained dog will and should engage on it’s own under certain circumstances (like the one you that you encountered).
You can view all of our videos at; http://www.youtube.com/canczechdogs
Hopefully they can address some of your concerns.
As stated earlier, any ideas or request for a video to address concerns is always appreciated.
