So, according to Doppleganger the KC will register a pup as Sky Blue Pink with yellow dots then, but will put it as down as a non recognised colour (or perhaps not), suppose one only knows which variety of colours are recognised and which are not only after attempting to register them. A less than acceptable situation in my opinion but Hey Ho nothing new about that where the KC's concerned eh !!  Suppose we ought to start feeling sorry for Doppleganger folks, it really must be a full time job trying to defend the indefensible these days. lol

Carole if you read the press release you will see that this takes effect from 11th January 2010, so if you buy the next BRS (due out any day) for January to March there should be none of these odd colours listed unless there were some registered before 11th January.

Sue I'm not trying to defend anyone, just pointing out the facts, which neither you nor I can argue with, they may not be to our liking but they are there in black and white (or should that be non recognised colour lol).

well Doppleganger,we,ll have to wait and see,but i reckon that there will still be an array of various non standard and weird colour combos still listed.CaroleS.

Carole,

The latest BRS is now out and there are none listed as 'any other colour' which is what they have in some other breeds
where odd colours are an issue.  Apart from some registered before 11th January there are no strange colours this time.
