Well Sweets
I don’t think in this post 9/11 world most people have learned the appropriate lesson from this. The whole Koran burning insanity illustrates this. That a handful of people in Florida can hold the world hostage by threatening to burn a few books is beyond silly, yet the main reaction has been not to tackle how ridiculous that is but to figure out how to appease the irrational violent people. You can’t appease irrational people. They’ll get violent over one guy burning Korans. They’ll get violent over cartoons. They’ll get violent because of false rumors of Korans being flushed down toilets. And yet are focus is on how to keep these crazy people happy and calm.

RPK please pray, for the lost lives, of the innocent people, of 9-11 and their families.

And sweets also pray that history does not repeat itself.

Remembrance is empty and hollow unless this horrible crime is solved and the perps are brought to justice and the gross criminal negligence of the EPA stating that the air quality afterwards in the damage zones was safe for workers, many who became sick and died. Somebody needs to remember all these victims too, especially the ones that are sick and disabled now and can't even get medical care or afford prescriptions because they can't work. There is a virtual news blackout and taboo on this subject of dead and/or disabled rescuers, survivors and salvage workers and service dogs. It is only covered in the alternative media or by word of mouth from actual witnesses. This isn't a game. The very future of our country depends on solving these problems.
Moderator, this is not a political statement and I am not saying these things lightly. It is verifiable fact and if you don't care about these victims then you are part of the problem that has led to this catastrophe and lack of help for these brave individuals. And don't forget all the wonderful service dogs that became sick and died afterwards from the polluted air, air filled with nano-particles of asbestos, concrete and other toxic materials.
Now if this post violates the rules of this web site, say so plainly and no games please. If this violates the terms of use, state where and I'll remove this post myself. If people don't stand up to this tyranny in DC, mark my words, most dog sports will not be around much longer.

Thank you Preston. I have seen several documentaries and read a few articles on what the 911 volunteer rescue workers have been put through ever since that horrific day. It would be wrong not to remember those people were heroes and it would be tragic to let this day pass without thinking of their ongoing plight too.

It's still 9-11 here. Tragedy struck on that day, and I hope that someday, whatever the truth is about those horrific attacks will be brought to light and the perpetrators of that crime punished. Nine years ago, thousands of people lost their lives.
I have never forgotten the shock, the pain, the utter horror I felt as I watched, along with the rest of the world, as those towers fell on September 11, 2001. We never watched television during the day, but that day, we could not tear ourselves away from the TV.
Someday, those responsible for this and many other attacks around the world will be brought to justice. Until then, and even after, we must never forget. We must be ever vigilant and remember the innocent.
