Skie whats with you 10 years ago or 10 minutes ago. When you starve as many dogs as she did and have them taken away..are you saying its alright for her to have dogs again and sell pups....

Typical  out of you! to answer your question! I am not at all concerned for Janice or willing to help  her in any way! she's a big girl and can take care of herself! I worry about any animals she might be keeping! That is why  the authorities will be or are watching her! Raymond. I was trying in my feeble way to get back on topic. Please allow me to apologize and get back on topic. Please. Jokes notwithstanding. 

Janice Bartmess has NEVER taken responsibility for the abuse and neglect of the 64 GSDs in HER care!  She has blamed everyone, including the dogs and has stated that she was pretty much forced to cop a plea or serve time.  What part of that don't you people get?  She writes books on this DB and admits to keeping dogs once again.  Do you think those dogs are tended to properly?  I've heard (yes, it's a rumor) that she has up to 20 dogs and spending as much time as she does here, shows they are currently being neglected, DUH!  You couldn't spend that much time here and properly take care of just two dogs.  She skirts the issue of breeding by stating that she doesn't sell puppies "on this site"!  She's not said she's not selling them elsewhere!  TEN years before she was CAUGHT, her kennel was "struck by lightening" and dogs died.  Coincidence?  She's still up to the same old tricks and peering around every corner for AR agents!  She's been slapped down here and still keeps coming back for more... are you starting to see a pattern of behavior?  Anyone saying she has paid her debt and should be free to do as she pleases, well...

Then  if people here know for sure she is kenneling agian then report  her to the authorities! How damn hard is it to lodge a complaint with the local authorities! Can here current adress be found?  I say she has paid her debt to society as THE LAW STIPULATES! We as private citizens can not throw her in jail but we MUST REMAIN VIGILANT  AND EVER WATCHFULL TO MAKE SURE SHE DOES NOT DO IT AGAIN! WHERE DOES THIS WOMAN CURRENTLY LIVE?

My thinking and writing do not always go to gether well .. I never ment that tollerence for what happend should be implimented. My thinking was more along the lines to tollerate her writing here, never forget ,but please stop attacking her. Anything going on today , as in right now, should be monitored.. I never said not to watch her . Physicaly stop anyone who is doing such a thing as what happend in the past- writing on a board nasty things won't nessisarly stop her- some one would have to actualy investigate phisicaly.

 Again, how do you know she is hoarding again? I have read through all this, is her mention 3-4 dogs and that is not hoarding...most people on this forum have more then that. Also how do you know she "abusing" these animals? 

People change, mistakes happen and also most papers DO go over board and why were their never any pictures like most abuse sites have? I am not saying she didn't do it but I think it is wild that you all believe this site word for word when you know the media tends to twist and make things sound worse. I bet their was some kennels dirty and some with low water..no breeder can say they clean 24/7. It is funny that they talk about the garage and backyard....south bay Inn was a commercial kennel and it probably had 40-50 runs.

What would banning her do? I bet there are more animal abusers hiding here or ones that never got caught and I bet they are the ones that are more upset about her writing. People everyday get let out jail of doing far worse crimes and they are the ones walking next to you in the store..what are you going to do? ban them from stores?

I bet if she was doing the same thing again, with all the attention the same ones give her on here, one of those have been on the phone to the authorities near her already...They would be to proud to be able to take credit for putting her behind bars.....Now, if all these people on here suspect her and some are even sure shes doing it again, if they do not, or did not make the phone call, than they are just as guilty as her for not reporting it....
