Poseidon, that's pretty funny! I grew up with GSPs, wonderful dogs! In the late 70s, my parents had one who escaped and walked 3 miles, including a mile long tunnel and a bridge, to get to town! Our city doesn't have much of a resident population, so a dog window shopping was quite a sight! They took him into an office building until my parents picked him up!

Lol, I know exactly what you mean about GSPs. This one belonged to a friend who lived with me a couple of years ago. She was so mischievous but I loved her dearly. Sadly the little gal died in a RTA chasing after a deer in the forest in October 2008. I was not there when it happened because I was attending to my GSD at home who was in season. I am still heartbroken with her lost. She always put a smile on my face :)
