Are you on meds, Slamdunc - or are you always this melodramatic? There was nothing anti-semetic in my post, nor is there any neo-Nazi GSD forum. As I said, I have seen very few posts of Ugly dog - and I've always held the position that this venue is not the proper place for political discourse.
I created a GSD forum for everyone if they wanted to try an alternative. No big deal. It may not attract anyone - it may - I just made it for you and everyone else who wants to have a place for no rules posting.

Hi Jim,
How are you? You do just fine here and I wish you were around more often. But I do understand how frustrating it must be.
I agree with what you write. There is a difference between expressing ones' concern, arguing that a group is oppressed (as are many) and even arguing what Presidential candidate one favors from expressing opinions that are inflammatory and meant to foment social unrest. Suggesting that it is ok to assassinate someone from a rooftop because one did not like the way an election turned out is offensive to any real American.
And yes, I too would much rather see topics like what I just wrote elsewhere. The other problem with Ugly is that one cannot any longer hold any kind of conversation about any topic without his coming and posting his hatred. There are plenty of places he can go and do it all night.
Take care and stay safe Jim. I appreciate your service on our behalf.

Actually Jim, you stated your views very well. We all come from different lives, perspectives, and that is what makes some of us more sensitive on an issue. You and Hodie have obviously had to deal with alot in real life, where I only see it on T.V. and am obviously desensitized to a point I think.
I thank you for explaining yourself, now I can empathize with you much more and I certainly understand where you are coming from.
I thank you and paramedics like Hodie (past paramedics still count) for what you do for a living. I know I couldn't do it.
I really admire what you do, and I'm sure what you see is horrific, so I understand why you don't want to see it here.
I'm sorry.

Hodie and Jim,
Thank you very much for your posts. You are two of the posters I read with great interest, and I am very happy to see that you support civility and at least some order in our discussions. I do think there are some legimimate concerns raised about limitations on some discussions. I wonder how people can discuss dissapointments with their puppies without crossing some legal lines. I agree we should be able to discuss these things, to alert others to questionable breeders, but there should be some limits on what is said. On the board, there is no way to verify claims by buyers or sellers. In some cases, I come to my own conclusons about who to believe based on my readings of the principles posts over several years. I also follow the complete threads, and read both sides. I find these threads very useful as I consider where to purchase my next dog. But I think it would be very useful to add to the TOS guidelines about how we can have constructive discussions of this type, which certainly have their place on this board. I wonder if the recent removal of posts regarding kennels is in response to a legal action of threat of same? Also, it is not clear how we flag a post as objectional. I have certainly seen some I would flag if I knew how.

Luvemdogs, we must have posted at the same time. I was referring to this statement that you made: I don't see Ugly Dogs posts as offensive at all, in terms of political discourse. I don't understand how anyone would not find his post's offensive, stupid, full of inaccuracies and totally erroneous. As I have said, you haven't been around here long enough to know the true uglydog. He is an antisematic, racist, bigoted, neo-nazi. You should do some more research before you agree with someone's poliitical views that you really don't know.

"I don't see Ugly Dogs posts as offensive at all, in terms of political discourse. "
Yep, you really missed something. Be thankful.
(At least I *hope* you missed those posts; I *hope* you aren't saying that calling someone "trailer trash" is way more offensive than posting pics of dead children. Hey, when I was growing up we lived for a time in a trailer park, after my parents divorced. I'm not offended by that term. I was offended by the photos and anti-semitic remarks ugly spewed.)
I can't say it any better than hodie, jim, et al. already said.

Kitkat and GSLover,
Apparently, you did not get anything out of these many postings. Your Beverly Hillbillies type feuds belong elsewhere. If you don't have anything intelligent to say, don't. Do you even have a thought about GSDs? I know many of us won't hold our breath waiting. But take your idiotic arguments, about what we cannot decipher, elsewhere.
