Steve, I don't know how far you are from Bruges, but we are having a girls 2 -3 day trip (hopefully) in either March or May... you let me know what cheese etc you want... I'll happily bring it to you!

Where else can you go and wittness more slandering and backbiting than at a club event or trial?

Try taking a listen to chat going on next time you are at church....seems to me they are a far more judgemental bunch (and I believe Raymond's post drives home that point nicely)

We are around 280 kms from Bruges, but i have had cheese sent over in the post before, it is okay
Do not forget to take a trip and look around inside the Churches there the Paintings are fantastic,
And take a trip on the water ways if they have the little boats running this time of the year

Seeing those paintings are well worth whle, I always marvel at how they built the Churches, but regards doing anything else in them, It is not for me
Talking about Churches in Belgium
Every Village in Belgium has a church
and village is called a dorp in Belgium
The Oldest Church in Belgium is in Tongeren about 20kms from me the top part was never finished, they ean out of money, when they could afford to finiah it, they then decided not too it has a flat top
Tongeren was surrounded by a Roman wall still parts are there
Thats enough of the history lesson for one day

You've had a narrow escape, Steve... very wise!  Four women on a girls long weekend... we behave badly LOL.

I'll remember about the churches, I like churches, which is surprising, because I have no time for religion of any kind.

Maybe some day I will find my way to Belgium.. Only been to a to Europe once and to Hawaii and Bahamas. Buildings were pieces of Art, never to be seen anything to compare to..

Steve and missbeeb, I understand your aversion to Religion, however,  I just happened in on a Bible study one time at my moms, years ago, and talked to a knowledgeable lady about Revelations, and I'll tell ya, it opened my eyes.

I'm afraid the Bible is going to prove itself to being true, very very soon.
