Koerung UK - SV judge - Page 6

Hi All - have been chasing my tail over the last few days and not been on the board to read the comments.  AGain - thank you all.  Missbeeb, dont take adverse comments as negative and dreary, because they are just differing points of view - and before we get to this event WHICH WE WILL we have  to listen to everyones points, to be able to be impartial, correct and not forget anything important that needs to be considered.

I am copying and pasting all views to take on Sunday with me, hope no-one minds that, but I think it is all very relevant, and

to answer reason his his point as follows:

Penny you mention the south Cheshire Group of BAGSD as far as i am aware the South Cheshire Group are a long established group of the GSDL have the new BAGSD group copied the name if so i am surprised they do  not want their own identity!

Truth is I havent got a clue on that one, just go there - train, help out if I can tea making too and thoroughly enjoy myself, they could call themselves what they will..... however, I will def find out on Sunday. -   by the way, my name is Mo of course, not penny.  I have my user name as penny because back when I started, I logged on as that because I thought you had to have a pseudonym... how wrong I was, but dont know how to change it back. !!!   I always though do sign it as myself.

re the Name it is no big deal to me but i am sure it is a big deal to the South Cheshire GSDL group, it seems that the name was made to in effect piggy back a very successful club. and i would have thought that a new group would want its own identity

Re Koerung

If in the short term ie 1-2 years the SV KOR is not viable due to the criterial i have highligted above maybe you could bring your influence to the B C to organise a system similar to run alongside ie same criteria but UK hips elbows and DNA UK breed council surveyors doing the conformation and UK WUSV approved working judges doing the AD BH SCH1 and the KOR test

Ps Am sure it will not happen but i never thought i would see the protection test at the Seiger show and i did!

Been training all weekend, and i see the new campaign ie the Videx thread has taken all the enthusiasm from this subject

Hi Reason - it hasnt taken my enthusiasm, but work did... however, here I am burning the midnight oil, and increasing the bags under my eyes - at least you get peace from other things at this time of night...

Right:  sunday - still I think the event looking very promising.  Firstly to answer (or not answer) reasons question regarding the naming etc - failed miserably at present but I will post in a couple of days. I was told whilst the dogs were working and apart from a very long word, I thought I had retained it - save to say that I had demoted Mark Tyson by saying he wasa Chairman of South Cheshire... when he is Chairman of BAGSD VPG (thats the long word !)  However, home 24 hrs and I didnt retain it, so have to ask again, will mail Mark.

The exciting bit as far s I am concerned is the plan to contact the SV to see if the Koerungs can be done IN READINESS - and SUBJECT TO - that would be a really good start, so that a Koerung, in the UK by SV judge under SV rules - would then be presented to the SV and would be awarded once the rest of the criteria were met.  

Date not set, all comments left for the club to see and comment on, and the general consensus was that everyone thought that the comments were good, brought up good points, and were taken on board.  Perhaps thats why a def date was not fixed.   Mo
