Naya's Mom - just wanted to let you know that my thoughts are with you at this difficult time. I also wanted to let you know that things can turn around. On December 23, 2006 my husband and I were in a serious car accident. Weather conditions were poor and we hit two telephone poles head on. It is now June 23, 2008 and I have yet to return to work. Things were really bad right after the accident. I could no longer care for my three horses and was forced to sell them. It was heart wrenching. It still is but I know they do have loving homes. I have been battling ever since to get my life back. We have almost lost our home a few times due to the financial strain but things are looking up for us now. There are better times ahead of you. I never thought there were when I was in the eye of the tornado but now I know that what happened was for the best. I am better, stronger and more motivated than ever. I am actually starting to think of the accident as a catalyst for positive change in my life. It cost me my girls. It broke my heart and I have lost many, many, many precious possession that I owned (all items of any value were sold) but I am still alive. I have my husband and almost have my health. I know you are not considering finding an alternate home for your girls right now - but maybe the right situation might present itself. Keep all your options open. You never know what might be around the next corner.

OchardLane, welcome to this board. You sound like my kind of person.

Jodagirl, yes, I do think there are kind people out there who will help Krista when she's back on her feet. I'm with you, if I were a breeder, I'd be first in line. Everyone needs a  little help now and then.

Naya:sMom:   I have tears in  my eyes , and Im so glad you have found people you trust. , and Malinda will be here in Texas for you...and I will too...I still have two litters a year and mINE  will be a blend of work and show...so when you get ready , if I have a pup that will work with one of Malindas, I will also give you a pup to take back home , where ever that ends up...Maybe you will migrate towards TEXAS..

It is tough here in Texas also, as the gas and groceries are higher than ever and there are so many illegal immigrants in line to get the free stuff , I wouldnt stand a chance...

We need some new fresh ideas in the USA to turn it all around.

I  ,, too, will not be keeping any more of my litters to breed or try to continue the pace I have before...

You will find a blessing wherever you go and we are all praying for you and your family....Chin up and wipe the tears away...soon you will have one to lick them off.....keep the Faith...

YellowRose, somehow I knew you would be one of the first to step up to the plate. You have a kind heart.

Yellowrose, I know that we can help this person.  Thanks for being such a kind hearted person and generous.

When  you get ready, you drop us Texans an email, and we'll get you started back up again.

Right now everyone is pressed.  Things are changing, but really it is just the same, just different problems.  Maybe this unfortunate turn of events will present you with heartache now, but in the future, you may find you have friends you never knew you had.

During these times I urge us all to band together, help those who might need it, even if it is with a prayer or a lending hand.

Things are going to get tougher, I fear, but surely, all will rise above and help each other. :0

Yellowrose, I am going to have to meet you one day.

I had to buy two pair of shoes in the last six months. I had to shop around but did find American made for both pair. Second choice are allies of USA including Canada, Mexico, England  etc....I try to stay out of Walmart...

It would be tough to lose all your dogs but nice for someone to offer a pup when able...

I read this post when I first was it.  I stopped the day Naya was rehomed because it was just too sad.  I'm glad I came back.  There really are good people out there , Malinda and Yellow Rose top the list!  Renews faith that things will be OK.

Naya's Mom...stay strong, apparently there are a ton of people pulling for you!
