SUEINCC, I enjoyed your response immensely. Especially the part about the old german shepherd breed you referred at the end. I have seen occasional pictures of working GSD's in West Germany and these dogs were long haired and massive. And they were herding livestock every day of the week. They were also valued family pets and vigilant protectors. I am constantly in search of GSD's of this type and would like very much to know where I can obtain them.
