4Pack - I am so very sorry you lost Xabina so suddenly. Just doesn't seem fair with all she had gone thru. At least she had a wonderful life with you. My heart goes out to you and your family. Hopefully my Reno is waiting for her with all the other dogs lost to welcome her and show her the way. My friend just lost her 3 year old male to the same thing. They never were able to determine what caused it, because her other 3 dogs did not get sick either. Your slideshow was a beautiful tribute to such a wonderful dog.

I can't say thank you enough to you all.
Greatestgsd~ I think I kinda get what you mean. My page feels like home to me as well. I have North American Wildlife art all over my home. I collect stuffed moose like a little kid and wish I lived in Montana. It's too damn hot here in California and I'm sure my dogs agree. Nothing like packing them all up and hitting the snow in winter. They love it.
Our time with "Beans" "Beanie Wiennie" "Beans and Rice" "Beanie Baby" was a rollercoaster ride of mixed emotions. I had a real hard time bonding with her. She seemed to prefer men and went to GARD first at the airport, when we picked her up. Of course she was in horible shape, then was the most difficult mother when she whelped. More than once I wanted to strangle her, always moving her pups and not letting us pick them up to weigh them. You should have seen us trying to get the colored ribbons on the pups as they were born. I thought I needed a 2X4 to go into my garage for 3 weeks. I learned to sneak in to check pups when she was out doing her business.
She ended up our house dog and great with the kids. I heard her bark for the first time a few months ago while outside with the other adult dogs. I started asking her to Gehblout or Revere for the ball and stick. She liked to chase cats but not eat them...lol. All my dogs do that. Chase the kitty but if he doesn't run, lick him to death. She was the quietest dog I ever had, carefull to not bump into you and never jumped up. Very sweet and dignified but not trusting 100% due to whatever she went through before getting to us. She always had a sadness about her.
All I hope is that she had some enjoyment out life here with us and that she is happy now.
