Well it may be some ones reality but that is pretty sad if it is. My buddy wanted me to watch a couple of shows with him and it has to be one of the dumbest shows ever, I was not impressed. I would rather watch water boil.

Ever seen a box of rocks? Again, I rest my case.

Rocks have a valid excuse...:)

Now what?
Does anyone have any suggestions for the upcoming year?
Or will it be the same ole same ole from this year carried over into the next?
When do you take down your Christmas tree?
My little Charlie Brown Christmas tree turned out pretty nice this year, I will as always not take it down until New Years day.
And do you make resolutions for the new year and actually try to make them happen?
I try but rarely to they actually succeed.
I will as usual attempt at some point to quit smoking....lol, I know, not very sincere but it's always on my mind.
This year I think I need to move more and eat less, especially the move more part.

And I will try to avoid feeding trolls.

I will try to be more patient with Shtal - but I always break my New Year resolutions
before the first week of the new year is out LOL. Which is why I gave up making
any, years ago.
Decorations: here in the UK it is traditional (religion-based ?) to have them down by
'Twelth Night' (6th January). Some people interpret this as they take them down ON
the sixth; others do as I do and take them down on the evening of the 5th. (When I remember ...).
Some people however, especially it seems in 'greasy spoon' cafes etc, tend to leave them up
till March, or even all year ! Although any trees have usually disappeared by February.

Hundmutter,
I guess if I talk about shtal instead of to shtal then I'm not really feeding him, so........surely you know he's an idiot.
He knows he is wrong, but sadly he hasn't enough intellect or maturity to talk about anything else, he's going to keep it up as long as he gets a response.
It's been going on for over a year now beginning with gouda and Halloween, nothings changed in that time, I don't really want that to become the definition of the off topic forum.
Damage has already been done here.
As for the tree........mine is a cut tree and even with water it will become a fire hazard so first of the year's about it for me.
I see people putting up displays as early as Halloween and leaving them up well into the spring, it's ridiculous as far as I'm concerned, a bit lazy even.
As for resolutions, if I don't stop smoking and get more exercise I probably won't be here next Christmas, so I really don't have any other options.

You could try holding off on the giving up smoking until a little later in
2014 - it somehow reduces the pressure, makes it more something you
want to do for you & yours, if you separate it from things you make New
Year's promises about ?
Re Shtal -
I know, I know ! Yes he is an idiot. But I don't think my being a bit more
patient with him would make any difference to the amount, or content, of his
posts. [Didn't make a jot of difference when I used to be nicer to him, before.]
It'll just make me feel better if I can resist calling him a fool - don't really want
to 'lower myself' to the name-calling level.
