I read the article and it's filled with pure BS.  The Puritans?  Really?  Is that what you want to go back to?  Witch burnings and scarlet letters?  Wow, just wow.  Yeah, you want that, have at it, but our Constitution frees us from the constraints of religion, like it or not.

First of all, this country was settled by those who preceded us, the natives.  But those "god-fearing Christians" committed genocide to steal what wasn't theirs to begin!  So if we want to go back to American tradition, I believe we should look more to the Sioux and Cherokee and Iriquois, etc.

I also like how he uses our "National Motto" as his moral symbol, considering it was originally "E Pluribus Unum" (from many, one).  We went from inclusive to restrictive, but you want to call that freedom?  Oh, how much hypocrisy can one take in one day?  And you actually fear Sharia?  That's so ironic, it's scary!

How about "Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness"?  How can you change the interpretation of that?

Nobody's rights were restricted on "Duck Dynasty", the man was suspended for breaching his contract with the Channel, period.  That's capitalism!
