Mine were a bit less and I've had to repair soles twice.
But they are well made even if I do wear out the soles.
What I really need are some new Moccasins, i wear the cheep fake ones with rubber soles....
I could buy a car for $650.00 .....LOL

Hey I been driving $650.00 cars all my life, my first car cost me $25.00.
You couldn't give me a new car, I don't like all the electronic crap they've done to cars.
And just for that reason, I can push start mine, you can't unless it's a manual transmission and all the safety features can be by-passed.
Yeah I like those comfortable shoes, except in bad weather, I guess real moccasins could be oiled or greased to waterproof them but these get wet.
I will pay a high price for quality, but never for a name.

Moons, "I hear you" on bypassing the computer diagnostics ! Every car
I've had was 'pre-loved' ; I would not know what to do with a really modern
brand new one. Each one I've had has gone a little further along that non-
mechanical, 1001 gadgets requiring yet more fuses, wiring, solenoids route.
The garages can of course charge more every time they have to slap it on
the control desk to work out what's gone wrong with it ...

When labor costs $75.00 an hour, and a $3.00 sensor costs $125.00, and then they have to play trial and error to find the bad sensor even with a computer diagnostic I tend to stick with the older cars and trucks.
They have designed these new cars and trucks to be disposable, and if you do want something fixed you must almost disassemble the car to get at it.
Now people want the cars to drive themselves, that hasn't worked out very well for the airline industry has it.
I may yet get a horse and buggy.....

Doors always hanging open, the lid always up, she'd forget to flush eeewwwwww nasty.
Dishes in the sink, dust bunnies the size of cattle.
