seemed a dream. I've been stalking here for a few years and stalking Jenni78's pups since born in Nov. Seems Ely had a little talk with me, even
if he didn't know it.....and I with him.
So, I know either Jenn or I will update. If I didn't have him in my life, I would be craving for an up date whomever did have him. He is a unique little fellow.
He is so quiet, calm and watches everything. He is now adjusting to his sister Edda (GSD) & Benny (GSD), white bitchy cat Pearl and old 16 yr old boy Red Heeler Stubby.
I ordered two new beds for my two GSDs before I knew Ely was coming.....they just arrived...... so now Ely has a new big huge round soft bed for his little growing bones
and to watch the world go by in fashion.
What Jenn78 said about Ely screaming when I drove off......was really a tear-jerker! He did settle in fine by night. Everyone that saw him fussed over him....I was
tired and just wanted to check in and off to shower & bed, everyone wanted a piece of him. lol.

I placed one of my pups at 7 months, he was a thinker, too. The look on his face when he was placed in his persons car was so shocked...no screaming...just this stricken look....broke my heart. And he has the best home, for almost 6 years now, he's bonded & a happy confident boy...but I'll never forget that look!
You're not going soft, Jen....

Thanks for offering to keep us updated as Ely grows. I agree, he is something special. Fortunate, yes you are!

Star didn't cry when I put her in my car, but her breeder had to run into the house, anyway, because she didn't want me to see her tears!
Ranger, OTOH, his former owner's parting comment to me was, "If he gives you any trouble, just show him a shovel!"
Honestly, some people shouldn't own animals....
Every time I go to visit my mom, who is a neighbour of his, he has to come and say 'hello' to my boy. And Rainger, being the good dog that he is, is always glad to see him...
But you can tell from this photo that he certainly doesn't want to hang around too long!
