Hundmutter,

I have repeatedly asked for a screenshot when this happens to show Oli. Not one member has been willing to provide a screenshot.

I will say it again - we can't recreate the problem, we have tried IE 11, chrome, FF, safari, IE 9 and IE 10 with no luck. A screenshot of the jumbled words may help us to better see and understand what is causing this.

I have one report that it could have something to do with the dash - but I have not been able to recreate it.

Oli can't even begin to try to fix something he can't recreate so at this point visuals might help. Telling us it is happening is all fine and dandy but it doesn't really help to find the issue and the really bad part is the maker of the editor has to be the one to fix the editor not Oli.

That's because you can't take a screen shot of a key stroke,
and you probably can't recreate it because it is not constant.

So, what happens to the jumbled words on the screen are they just keystrokes? Read what she wrote Moons.

If the words are jumbled then you would see it, no?

If it happens inconsistently then how are the same members able to get it to happen consistently and why can't we get it to happen at all? And it just so happens that most 99.9% of the members reporting problems are using IE11?

And again - Oli can't fix something he didn't program.

I understand that Oli cannot fix a program he does not own and did not create.

Certain key strokes cause the cursor to jump backwards and delete text in a random order.

Perhaps has something to do with SCAYT.

I already posted a message here that showed the changes that happened as I was typing. Maybe it will happen again today, I'm not using the simple form right now. It never happens with the simple form. I tried to download foxfire, got a warning that is was an unsafe site, so aborted the download. What was that all about. Another thing that has been happening for months is when I sign on my password is added automagically.  I get a message, invalid password, do it again and get on.
I just pressed the enter button and some of this post was deleted, I had to retype it.

The simple form I guess disables the tool bar,
This is on the simple form.

Did you go directly to the Fox Fire website, or some other website or redirect that offered it?

Use this link to download FF. You used a link to another site.

http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/

Right now there is an issue with logging out.

Even though you get the message you are not logged in I believe you are, I had Oli look at this sometime ago.

Do you know where the screenshot is you posted?
