I started this thread with inquiry about the owner and contact info for the owner, and never received any answer from anyone except some private "I'm pretty sure so and so has him now but he's probably living at his dad's house". So apparently he is not so easy to reach or doesnt' want to be.

I've had a chance to see an Olex daughter on several occasions. She was a nice strong, high drive female. It would be a shame if he is no longer producing. However, I would only trust something in writing from the current owner and a Vet. I wouldn't give any credibility to someone just because they married a dog trainer and stands on the sidelines and watches other people. If the dog is not available at stud so be it.

Veroonica : Are u still going to Georgia for the stud there? And I sure hope no one goes to the Alabama" subject: because Ill have to tape my mouth and cut off the pc for the length of duration and Ask Oli to block it so I cant speak, cause u dont want to know what I know....end of that ...no Alabama thread......

I can not speak for the other posters on this thread but I was/am potentially wanting to use Olex with one of my females..
So if all the info I had posted about above is available to someone wanting to use Olex, who should I talk too??
I'm not asking for Diane or the owner of Olex to post the info on the board but I would need the info prior to committing to using the male.
Please contact or send info to contact owner.

Yes I am aware that Dean used Olex - that's why I mentioned Karla's litter (Karla = Dean's wife) - I leave the tracking to my dog LOL

I would guess that we will get some answers here in about 70 days as the breeding is about to happen. Karla would you please keep us posted? I have marked the calender for the very important announcenent of your litter. Hope everything goes well for you and your bitch. Bob

Thanks Bob and MIGSD. The owner had a semen analysis done while our female was there for breeding with excellent results (something we didn't even ask for given the previous results). Considering that we've had a 50% success rate in breeding this female and with four puppies in her last litter, we are very hopeful she will conceive as she is nearing retirement.
We are very lucky to have such a proven male of Olex's caliber in the US. His success as a competitor and producer are easily evident with an internet search and conversations with our friends in Europe. Even with our female's breeding history, it is well worth the chance to produce one heck of an outstanding litter with Olex over Tom - even if it is one puppy!
