What's wrong with Purgatory...LOL? It is kind of like... Home base.... you know... gives you a safe spot while you figure out.... what's next...? And while you are there you have time to think about what you did wrong? Like going to your room when your mom was so mad at you she can't remember your name?

A good place for the party, I thought.... there is always this....

Unfortunately BeeTree, I will not be seeing ya'll at the Purgatory Party either. Shucks !! LOL

My soul will hang out with my physical body for as long as it takes me to accept my "real" death. As my life has passed by me - I didn't accept any of them yet - so I'm here still.  BOO  Although one was very close.

After my soul accepts my real death I'll prolly just hang out around my place for awhile or maybe go spook some people till some other soul I know shows up and pinches my arm to confirm the level of purity in my souls consciousness. Although I'm still debating whether or not I will cross over. I kinda want to stay earth bound as long as I can. Or at least till Jesus himself comes to round me up. LOL

I'm sure other souls got lost along the way too.  LMAO

In one of his earlier appeals to the heavenly Father, David exclaimed: " Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. (Psalm 51:1). The strength of first aspect of prayer occurs when we genuinely from our own heart speak to God; we appear to him “as is” or in the way we are, we admit, that I personally need Him, His love, In need of His forgiveness and cleansing. It is important to be open and honest with God, not to conceal anything from him, to be perfectly honest.
 
And the conclusion, Jesus said in (Luke 5:32) I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Also, Have you ever thought what salvation mean? And when you repent!
It means that you can/could be free from slavery of sin, and Jesus said in (John 8:36) so if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

Let me give you simple example; there are plenty examples in the Bible - but I will give you one, if genuinely good person like you said, but then if we would read what the Bible says in (Matthew 5:28) But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

But in other chapter/verse the Bible says about adultery and so we read in (1 Corinthians 6:9-10) Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.


So it is very simple for genuinely good person end up in HELL.

John 1:9 Because God is faithful and just He will will certainly keep His promise to forgive and to cleanse.
The guilt of sin requires forgiveness or pardon. God provided 
forgiveness by means of the atoning death and ressurrection of Christ
Both forgiveness and cleansing come through confession BEFORE GOD.
James 5:16  CONFESS   not to be taken as a command to confess every sin to another human being.
However,to ackknowledge when we have done wrong and to offer prayer for each other strengthens
our spiritual life.

P.S   You do not have to confess your sin to your pastor.
But if a christian does confess their sins to an other christian,if that person does not forgive
God will not forgive you.

It is true that pastor is not the only choice, as long you find righteous christian person...Is just in our church, we have Elder Bishop, then Bishop, Pastor and deacon... I can choose any of them.


Also, don't forget this scripture:

Mark Chapter 11

24Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

I think this is a bit different subject, there are circumstances/conditions and/or depends what you had done; some sort of abuse, in cases like that church can decide, I am not going to talk on this subject on this thread.

You can read example what Paul did in (1 Corinthians Chapter 5)...You would have to read complete chapter, and in verse 5 it gives clear answer.

I know.  You missed my point.

You said "Speaking of Hell, and Death ... which we will all experience ..."

My argument remains that those of us who do not think or believe as you do
will NOT 'experience' anything but maybe the beginning of dying ;  death and
anything that you reckon happens beyond it is irrelevant in our consciousness.

That is without the other  possibilities posed by other forms of religion. 
And yet it is typical that Christians especially  encompass everyone in such
remarks,as though no differences exist.  I'm not asking you/ Christians generally
to go into a long list of alternates, btw, simply that you should remember to use
phrases like:
'Believers will experience';  'Some of us are sure that'; 'I have a faith that'
rather than  ' We ALL', during this sort of contribution. 

I would put it to you that you would get equally sick of atheists or others
constantly assuming they/we were  ' all '  the readers, and therefore not allowing
acknowledgement of your existence ...

Shtal - oh that's all right then, it only applies to MEN ?
Male heterosexuals, I mean ?  Anyone who has never
looked at a woman and lusted after her (even without
necessarily doing anything about it ) is free from 'adulterous'
thoughts so if they haven't done anything else nasty,   a la
Slam's example, they get their free pass ?  Presumably this
includes all babies, since they are too young to lust after
anybody ?   You know you are talking complete bollix, don't
you ?
