purge
[ purj ]
- get rid of opponents: to remove opponents or people considered undesirable from a state or organization
- remove something undesirable: to get rid of something undesirable, impure, or imperfect
- free somebody from guilt or sin: to make somebody or something pure and free from guilt, sin, or defilement
Yes, I have done a 1-2 inbreeding. If you want to talk theory, tell me all about it's doomed failure, having no experience of your own to share. But northwoodsGSD would like you to do it in a different thread.

produced many Top performing dogs. This is a 5,4-5 of Fero and if he turns out right, I would this he would be a great dog to breed with. Great health on both sides, good drives all around and very good aggression. I think is this was
a 1-2 or even 2-2 then it would be pause for a cause but so far back. I think it's much to due about nothing.

I know you always misunderstand me; I know what purge means. I asked what forms you would take, when you culled. There are options, are there not? It depends on how severe the detrimental exaggeration showed, now wouldn't it? Certainly some culling means a pup does not survive. Sometimes it means it lives with a lifelong deformity in the home of a good hearted soul? Those are real expectations, aren't they?

If you don't believe in the strength of a broad and open gene pool, good for you--make the breeding choices you wish. But personally, I like to have more options.

Seriously you like nothing from the Fero line?? Working ability, conformation, drives. Look no further than the famous J-Litter, this is Fero. Troll, Yoschy, Rocky von der Zingelgarten, Aly vom Vondersteinwald, Quaste von Ankenrutt and you can go on and on.
Of course you don't want to see Fero all over the place but in the 4th/5th generation it is more about what is in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd in my opinion. Also, If i was looking for a female to breed with, I would look for some that are non-Fero or Fero further back
than 5th but this is more for strong genes. I would see what my dig brings and if I see a female with Fero, 4th or 5th but she compliments my dog. I'd breed it. It's no knock on anyone as many people like certain things but it''s undeniable what Fero has brought
a lot of good to the lines. Not sure any dog is perfect.
