Negative comments only take away from the NASS, one of the tools that we have to judge the German Shepherd Dog, not the dog. A lot of hard work goes into both the event and the German Shepherd Dog specimens who participate. It was a great event and a great weekend where many new friends were made and great German Shepherd Dogs participated.
Congratulations Tuareg Vom Bad-Boll.

I have bite work videos on about 10 males. I am going to take a look and let you know what I find. I will eventually be able to post them, but I am having technical difficulty in getting them uploaded to YouTube.....

Thank you Ruger 1, it is my hope that more people will watch the videos of all bitework and see how inconsistent not only the helper work was but that there is a pattern to the BS in this particular show.

I know this will come as a novel concept to you but when I get home at night, I actually train with and/or bike my dog rather than waste all of my time on the internet talking about it.
I watched the video and it tells me nothing although when i turn the sound up, it does sound as though the stick makes contact. Either way, the purpose of the stick hits isn't to hurt the dog but to provide a distraction to see if the dog comes off of the sleeve. The distraction is there regardless of the severity of the contact.
What is more important in this conversation is that you are making the very serious accusation that the helpers were intentionally showing favoritism to specific dogs. I was there and saw what I saw with my own two eyes and did not have that impression and I think you're out of line.

Keith:
I,ll agree with the first part of your sentence, The 2nd part is completly off track for a any dog that is breed for a working line dog!.
So your saying the stick it,s self is viewed as a threat?
