That was just a lame diatribe, Z. This thread got off to a bad start when I was attacked, NOT when I attacked anyone. OK, to be more precise, when I or ANYONE ELSE WHO STARTED A NEW FORUM got attacked.

This database is indeed doing fine. That is why it is so puzzling that the mods are bitter about people "taking away PDB's most loyal (as if loyal people could be TAKEN) members." Why is PDB so bitter about it? I am very confused.

Of course we gossip about PDB; we all came from PDB. We all left when the trolls attacked PDB and PDB was too poorly run to kick the trolls off. So we left for more peaceful waters, and it's been nice. So now that PDB and the mods finally figured out exactly WHO was destroying PDB, as if every member didn't know, PDB decides to launch a lame attack against anybody who left.

OMG. You guys all knew Nona and Maggie were tearing this place down. So we left to be away from THEM, not from PDB. Then seven months later you figure it out and kick them out, and we who left are the bad guys? Holy cow. How dumb is THAT.

 Oh my god VM, your own ego has really gotten in your way.  Sorry to tell you, but no changes were made just because you started your board.  Everyone who claimed they were leaving  have pretty much all come back.   All the changes that you see have been in the works for a long, long time.

You keep harping on that one statement made by GSD, even though he has explained his statement to you.   NO ONE has called you or anyone who went to your forum a "bad guy"  We have told you time and time again you are more than welcome to be here.  We have said time and time again we are all members of various forums, so stop trying to put those words in our mouths.

All we are asking is why would you want to be here when all you do is gripe and then run back to your forum to gossip?  What's that really all about?
"Of course we gossip about PDB"  Did you really just say that as if there is nothing wrong with gossiping?  Give me a break, you can't possibly believe there is nothing wrong with a bunch of people who sit around griping about a board they portend not to care about.  Talk about "bitter"!!!

As far as other members go, the mods will not discuss with you, or any other member, what has transpired with Maggie or Nona or any other member who may, or may not still be a member of this community.  That's just flat out none of your business.  So now you left because of a couple of members you didn't like.  That's not what you said before.

What? I never said anything resembling that. Not even REMOTELY. I sure don't think it. And, for the record, we have ONE thread about PDB  out of about a thousand.

Jantie, I miss your posts and based on some new recent developments in the GS world in Europe, I think a lot of people who posted on your threads own you an apology. I don't expect you to get it because many are more interested in their own view/associates than the truth. Nevertheless, I think the forum is probably more civil now, but I also think some of the more knowledgable posters have left or don't bother. I am a member of many forums, but I participate as much as the quality of the posts I read. There are forums I post on more than this, and there are forums that I post on less than this. I personally don't have time for personal life chatter, though I realize that is important to some. Knowledgable people bring good information derived from factual content or extensive experience. These people will always attract people to a forum....afterall most people go to forums to learn; and some to educate. But ignorance and ignorant people will always be present and the less they are engaged or the more they are educated, the better the forum will be. I would love to see some of the older crew back, as they have helped make this forum successful. Anyways, things will work out....they usually do!!

Right, out of how many ACTIVE threads?

All I'm saying, all any of us have said is if you want to be a member here, good but be a productive member, don't come over here just to dive bomb this place with snarky little  comments then run back to your forum to pat each other on the back about the snide comment you just made here.

It's like the constant posting of "I used to come here a lot but I don't come here anymore because there are no good threads".  I mean come on, it's getting old, how many times are you guys going to repeat  that nonsense?  That's such a load of bullshit, and nothing more than wishful thinking.  

 Either come here and be a productive member like you are on the other forums you belong to,  or go away. 

We aren't arranged the same way this place is. All threads are active, and our organization means that we don't have dozens and dozens of threads on the same subject. Anybody can revive any thread at any time if he or she wishes to air the topic again. It's just different. Everything is visible all at once.

By the way, your highness, I didn't come here to "stir shit," as you non-swearers put it. I came here to read, and found that someone was stirring shit about ME and people like me, people who have the unmitigated GALL to 1) want to do things their own way; 2) believe in democracy; and 3) feel that it's ok to belong to more than one forum at once.

I do believe a lot of the resentment still harbored stems from incidents that were handled very wrong  more than 6 months ago  by moderators who are no longer moderators. 

I think there are hurt feelings on both sides of this, and more than anything, I just wish we could all get past it.  I think all the members of your forum are great, I consider many to be my cyber friends.  

Your forum is different and has a lot to offer.  So does PDB.  Why can't we just support each other?  No more fighting, no more petty bullshit?  Clean slate?
