Hutch, well said. It is time to do something and, whatever else, the KC has given the impetus for that.

Yesterday the GSD club of Scotland voted in favour of signing this undertaking the vote was 22 for 6 against sad day for some of us but that is democracy it does not change how i feel and i will give my support to the LG type shows 100% because my belief is this is the way to go for our breed the health of our breed should always be paramount must be put 1st before any CC

Well said Jim - sorry it went that way, but not surprised. The KC have gone for a major bullying campaign on this issue, and most committee`s I think are wobbling. It makes not a dot of difference to our progress, we will do that for sure. How did the meeting go on the progressive group on Sat? Havent heard anything yet. I was worrying that the awful weather conditions you had up there might have hampered people getting there. Did you go? Mo.

Hi Mo yes i was there on sat it was a very good meeting with i think 67 in attendance so a good turn out despite the awful weather we have agreed in principle to start a group/club with a working party, our first meeting i hope will be this month to start the ball rolling i would also like to thank Nikki for attending this meeting and helping to put to bed the silly rumours about what the KC will do thanks Nikki i can see a bright future for our breed in this country one not hampered by the draconian KC one where our dogs health comes first not a red card.

That is fantastic news Jim. A turn ut of 67 with all the terrible weather conditions promised up there. I jsut wish I could have gone up but Saturday was not a possibility for me. Well done to all concerned, Birmingham next I hope. Mo.
