As with any fear-biter, you simply lie-THAT is why your "opinion" lacks validity. It lacks veracity. You specifically claimed no vendors, catalogues or seating. Read YOUR own post (unless you have crawled back and edited it). So, YES, your false claims lacked validity, were lies, so your "opinion" is not valid. Simple--the statements were NOT true. Period. If you are so much better organized and funded, try helping to host an event some time. But, I am sure, true to character and form, that all you will ever do is slam the efforts of others. Apparently, you've only been to two events and liked one better. If that was all you'd said, there would be no issue. Your opinion is your opinion. YOU, however made allegations that were simply false. That is not stating your opinion-that's lying. Simple.

Addendum: READ better. More importantly, READ your own post. WTF was the Friday dinner & gathering, if not a social event? I did NOT say that such had been eliminated entirely -- I said such were " discarded as often as not." Take a reading comprehension course, as you obviously need it. More importantly, just learn to tell the truth, Pinocchio, and you won't make such a public liar and fool of yourself. I am done with this. What was a positive thread about the events coming up next year has been infected by village idiots who have no idea what it takes to put on such events, and can only those who host or support them. Pffft I won't even bother to respond further to your dribble. It speaks for itself.

See,  once again you do not bother to read post, I never stated anything about seating,the stadium,  nor did I say "NO catalogs or vendors"  what I said was they were lacking, esp compared to other events, which is an opinion that doesnt agree with yours so you resort to calling liers and curse words, that really shows your intelectual side,  but as all online RAMBOs,  all you guys talk so tough, and wouldnt dare come out of your mom's  basement to see the light of day. 

Sorry keep dropping connection:  I answered each and every one of your points, point by point and made NO personal attack on you and your only answer is a personal attack on me, not even bother to approach my points or logic, just attack.  How about something novel, refute my points attack my logic, rather than just make personal attacks on me.  Lets have a discussion, rather than attack someone you have NO idea who they are.

The bib thing was a problem we had with a supplier, it was not that we did not think they were needed. Maybe we should have cancelled the event...

As far as social activities we had well attended dinner on Friday night, and the hockey game on Saturday. These events were posted on the Internet, listed on our website and announced multiple times in the stadium, I personally gave people directions to some of the social gatherings.There was a riverboat casino within sight of the stadium as well as numerous restaurants within walking distance of the stadium.

Yes the program was smaller, My thought was to have a program that could fit into a purse easier as well as be less expensive considering the current economic situation, we made a conscious decision to keep ad costs lower, shirt costs lower, trophy sponsorship cost lower, and have entertainment options that would not leave anyone broke.

I am sorry if you find those choices offensive.

We really did not have any control over the stadium concessions as they provided that for us but the coffee tasted like coffee, orange juice tasted like orange juice, beer was cold and did not taste like aluminum, and I happen to like stadium brats, So to me the food in the stadium was no different than any other stadium food at the majority of events. Again there were restaurants within walking distance. and I directed several people to those if they asked.


Again thanks to the many people who voluteered to help, the people that came out to support and the competitors.

Geffer, You OBVIOUSLY do not know me. LOL I am KNOWN for saying to your face, in person, what everyone else only says behind your back. Jeff, thanks for at least going after my points, which were not meant to insult you, it is my opinion and yes only my opinion, you dont have to like it, and I did not find your choices offensive, in my opinion, just not what I was expecting form a national event. nonetheless, I understand your reasoning behind them.  Thanks for your explaination.

Although this thread has taken on an acrimonious tone, I do hope that future host clubs take constructive criticism into consideration and do such things that they can to avoid the more obvious bloopers.  That being said, you can't make everybody happy, nor is it humanly possible to try. 'nuf said!

Personally I would like to see next years Nationals hosted by SchH Hawaii with tracking in banana plantations and helpers wearing grass skirts for delight of all the ladies spectating under the coconut trees.  The T-shirts would be a sell-out for sure:  "I was at the 2010 Nationals and I got LEI'ed"
