Kim, like I said, back in the day we didn't wear helmets. We were tougher. We played football on a field, not on Madden. Adults were allowed to tell us we weren't great. We had immune systems and could drink tap water.

Back to biking with dogs, I totally agree you can be unplesently supprised when your dog is distracted or startled. I made it less than a mile using a regular leash before our distracted lab put me into a tree and ER. That was because I was using a regular leash. Since then, I have logged 1000's of miles without a scratch using the Bike Tow Leash.
