Yes, BabyEagle, Rep. Ron Paul has been coming on strong lately.  He has been taking on the Fed as usual but with much more clarity and force.  No matter how deep his opponents dig, they just cannot find any dirt on him, because he is a good man and there just are no skeletons in the closit.  He has had opponents after him for over 20 years and they even tried to redistrict Texas to get rid of him. But as usual his popularity is so strong that such efforts are useless. The more I listen to his speeches, the more I like him.  To me the dream team would be Rep. Paul for President and Mark Rubio for VP.  This would be an amazing combination and a huge theat to the corrupt republican and democrat forces that have hijacked congress and the beltway.

BabyEagle, Ron Paul is hot and growing in popularity by the day.  Last time he ran for Potus, the major mass media sidetracked him, ignored him and tried to smear him. This time Fox substituted old video showing folks booing him to try and discredit and smear him. And the major media will keep trying, but I don't think this will work very well this time. Ron Paul is starting to get a lot of public support and he deserves it too.

Rep. Ron Paul lays it out on the budget and cuts through the double dealing. His credo is that he wants no more games with the budgeting of our country, and a forthright honest appraisal of what we can and cannot afford.

And he has been questionning the massive expenditures on the "war on terror" and all our undeclared, unprovoked, illegal mideast wars that we just cannot afford since the USA is technically bankrupt.

He also has claimed many times that just issuing more money and giving it to the banks or selling US treasury Bonds is not the answer and degrades the value of the dollar. Is this why we have so much inflation under QE1 and QE2?

Ron Paul, 2012 Presidential top-runner was interviewed on PBS.  Remarkable and historic footage:

Yes, Ninja, Rasmussen poll shows that.  You got it correct.  But there are many pollls and they do vary depending on the sampling and the population.  The important thing here is that Rep. Ron Paul's ratings have been climbing steadily, his donations have been inctreasing and he has been doing well and winning in straw polls.  Many never thought he would get this far.  So we will have to wait and see. I don't understand why he insists on remaining a Republican when he often acts like a cross between a Republican and a Libertarian.  I suppose he is really a populist and a Constitutionalist at heart. Any how the closer folks look at his positions lately the more they like him, and that is a surprise.
