I have seen, grown men get in fist fights over
dogs, In a bar...(not me). But what happen to Matt
 was cowardly.
And should be looked at that way. This could
happen to any one, not just a Frenchman and
a couple of Germans in a heated debate,
after drinking beer in a bar all night.

I think It could get worst if some one does
not step forward. Those who know,
could be the next one  these people, or person  target.

At the 2007 Atlanta Nationals an assault occurred.  Lyle, Al and Police were notified. Nothing happened in fact Lyle and Al stood up for the competitor who did the assault.

Don't mess with the GOOD OL BOYS--

Hell at the Nationals in Ca the Judge was punched over tracking scores and a retrack was given the next day.

2006 A competitor showed wearing a pinch collar in protection and was allowed to continue after the blind search and bark and hold he simply had to remove the collar.

As long as you play along and suck up to the good old boys you are ok Matt challenged them so they would have figured out how to accuse Matt.

Matt did the right thing.

I don't agree Jim

He should have got on the phone with the police, but instead chose to air it out on the database.  Very poor judgement in my opinion.

bigstandout,

I disagree,....going to the police would have been an
exercise in futility. But being quiet about it would be a disservice
to everyone...I know a lot of good old boys, where this kind of stuff
just does not fly. Most are good people and demand fair play for
everyone....No one is accusing anyone,...just the actions of the
tire slasher. They are dirt bags for doing this. If anyone has had
similar problems they should come forward.......

Don't chastise the victim...for speaking up. Matt is handling this very well.
Much better than I would have.

My judgement would have been so clouded . I would just punch out the 10
people I like the least, figuring I am bound to hit the guy that did this.

Matt did not "choose" to air the problem here, we did.  I started the thread as a response to an earlier mention regarding "issues" in Reno.  All Matt has done is respond, he has not accused anyone of any wrong doing and in my opinion has exercised great restraint in doing so.

So--- According to some people, the next time I find a dent in my rented van in a host hotel parking lot at a USA sanctioned event, I should expect USA to pay for the damages? I don't think so. ROTFL

no way...UScA should be stepping up for reinbursement....and Lyle owes no one anything for some diots decision to do whatever! Too bad Matt:-O

I agree with you judron. What a "nice" thought but it makes no sense, it could have been a meth crazed hater of Enterprise vehicles for all anyone KNOWS. That is what the insurance is for and by all accounts, it works. Have a good day.

Edited, because I misread judron's post, originally, I realize now we agree.
