Diane I don't think that little hiccup DVG had in Canada will happen again. Personally I'd love to see the DVG grow.
Well, it wasn't a little hiccup, because it happend again the next year. And don't be the least bit surprised if it happens again, as the Patterson's don't give a rip. This was expressed clearly by saying that it was no big thing for owners of "banned breeds" to "just" have to lock their crates, and put danger signs all over then and walk their dogs with muzzles on... A disgrace to the dog world that DVG would host an "all breed" event under these circumstances when MOST of the US and Canada are dog friendly.
The main thing wrong with DVG, (after not being anti-BSL) is the hassle of havng everything go through Germany. I wonder if I will live long enough to see a club dedicated to schutzhund (not a breed) here in the US?

shoot the people in the Boshi Ballet, and save all the good
German Shepherds.......But said it backwards!!
This is Wallace's second post about this subject. The first one he said
don't say anything Max..........Now he is bragging......to early for that.
When you brag to early this is bad luck. So lets just say we will see
what happens next......Don't relax just yet.!!
We are not good enough yet... that we can fight among ourselves.
We need alot more teamwork and discipline. And a Mecca for dog sports.
We don't have any of these things. At one time the Bay area was a little Mecca.
But it has gotten so expensive most of the old timers like me moved away.

hey Wallace, why did the GSDCA-WDA appeal to the WUSV the One Qualifier Trial?? UScA has ALWAYS wanted one qualifier!

The information I got is the GSDCA-WDA didn't request that, the GSDCA requested it. I'm for the qualification trial too.
