Why do we dream?? I guess it is because the stress of yesterday is hidden deep in your nervous system.
Love never dies!

I am eating my way thru the refrigerator today...not even hungry but they say Food is a cure all.....
Cantelop, pickles, malt o meal, now I have eggs boiling for egg salad sandwich and I really want some Tilapia breaded with Parmesan /crumbs.
I just want is my today plea.. Now I want some olives....o well...time for a nap.
Maybe I am having a melt down....lol I am kidding of course, I am just finding ways to not go outside...that is the sum of it all.
The mind and body do things to protect you when grieving.
Mine is food..

About two weeks after I lost my beautiful Shadow (2006 13yrs), I had fallen asleep on the couch. In that state between awake and asleep, I saw Shadow lounging on the other couch looking relaxed and happy looking right at me, full eye contact. It was a beautiful vision, maybe it lasted for 30 seconds or 1 minute. It seemed like forever.
As I came to full wakefulness, he faded away like the fog on a sunny morning. I cried my eyes out but I felt a lot better. I was able to tell people who didn't already know.
It gets better with time.
Michele
