I think we are very lucky over here, With the Training Field we get a Small Building for recreation and a small kitchen, It seats about 60 people, So we do not do bad
We pay the govening Body the V.V.D.H 60 euros a year subscription out of this our Club gets about 15 euros which goes into the Kitty, There are around 55 Offical ScHh Clubs in Belgium and i can train at any one of them But of course stay in my own Province.  i travel about an hour in the car to get to the clubs to train

My dog and I were not ready for the BH when our club had their last trial, so I don't remember exactly how much it was, but I want to say around $25 for the BH and $50 for Sch titles.. I could be wrong.
There was no charge for spectators, which I thought was nice,  but there was a charge for the day and a half seminar afterwards and I believe it was reasonable, but more than I wanted to pay (I think $75 per person?) ... Now I wish I had because after the short trial, the seminar lasted for the rest of the day (even though I didn't pay for it, my club members and the judge were kind enough to let my husband and I sit in even though we didn't pay since we did help set up/ take down equipment and helped as much as we could, but I felt gulity learning without paying so didn't stay for the whole thing) The next day, I found out that  the seminar lasted from sun up to sundown and I was very disappointed that I didn't pay.
Looking back it would have been a reasonable price for all I would have learned.
Schutzhund is definitely an expensive sport  but I love it anyway :-)

4pack,
How are you? where have you been? Are you a Baby  Momma?  Last post I saw,
you were very pregnant.

Am I such a smart ass, you can't tell if I am joking or being serious?
Most of the time I try to help,... and the answer to your question is I was
recommending Thomas for those people living in California. Just
google Thomas Sauerhoefer.

Yogi, your right, I  should change my name to Wolfinblog, I spend way to
much time on this computer. lately I have had alot of down time.

4pack, go over Thomas house  and see if he Is a SV Judge, and can help out.
Than report your findings to Yogi and BooBoo.

Yogi, the fact you don't know the sport as well as the Germans who have
trained their whole life, is nothing to be ashamed of .

If I am not available in the future I will refer all questions to Yogi.
Let see if he gets a sense of humor.

Oh now your saying this!!!!!......... Oh now your saying that!!!!............ It is a conspiracy.

Wolf, no I haven't let loose of my bump yet.

I don't need to google the man. I have been to his house (years ago), choked and ran at the prics of his pups. Choked and almost died, when I saw his "training". Since you threw the SV judge comment in there, I'll ASSUME your joking. Your new here, so I am just trying to figure you out.

4pack,
No Babies?......  I am not hard to figure out.... I am but a simple man,
with only a loincloth to my name.

He sounds just like a SV judge to me.  Are you  a member of the Maysville Schuzthund Club?

Wolf,

Are you, perhaps, thinking of Jorge Sauer_?

by MarioF on 16 June 2010 - 17:06

Wolf...  I agree with 4Pack...If you don't know the guy how can you refer him to people all due to a nice website.  I don't care if Thomas trained a 1000 dogs I would never send people to train with him.Thomas was never an SV judge if he was the SV would kick him out just like USA did for unsportsmanlike conduct he displayed in numerous trials hitting dogs right before each exercise. I remeber Thoams was part of the Feather River club and went to watch one of  thier trials. They brought in one of their buddies from the SV to Judge, the scores they were giving dogs was like christmas gifts.  That is why he is a WDA club now. Not to mention taking people money to train dogs and when he was suppose to trial he no showed on the owners and  leaving the dogs owner high and dry after traveling hours to watch their dog trial.
