how did they say this when?

by RatPackKing on 11 May 2010 - 01:05
Sue you write "WDA has now said they will finally be stepping up to the plate regarding schutzhund." Do you have any credible link regarding that statement of "yours"?
The reason for the thread was I do not believe the sincerity of the statement at the top of the USA website, which states.... Welcome to United Schutzhund Clubs of America where our membership is "For the German Shepherd Dog"
If that was truly the case USA would not exclude human beings which owns the dogs that are training / trialing just because of the organization one belongs.
BTW I agree with you on the Johannes Amendment. I would of been happy belonging to both organizations. Just know that WDA is rapidly growing and the trials will follow suit. How many trials will you be entering this year?
Proud member of WDA, with our first trial in October

Interesting that RPK starts a thread, about good ole USA Schutzhund club then basically shuts up I find no trialing history for him what has he done for either of WDA or the USA organizations? Has he ever been to a National event for either to vote for his club or even as a spectator? We all know his past history of being a member of a well known & respected USA club.
Going through old threads RPK has only posted 3-4 times about the GSD, all other posts 99 percent politics. Again this thread is about politics.
Last Nov I think RPK was still a member of USA did he go as a delegate to the Nationals I think not. I was there voted No, 2 of the loudest complainers now were there; they voted YES for the amendment, just one more NO vote we’d not be having this conversation.
I’m a proud member of the SV USA & WDA as my memberships have not come up for renewal. I’ll be in Reno to either help remove or adjust the JA amendment.
Happy trialing to you all, enjoy your dogs leave the politics at home or at a Nataional meeting where it counts:)
Speaking of trialing WDA has no requirements that a club must host an annual trial to stay in good standing so you can just be a paper club.
Yours in sport

I have read it in numerous places by various WDA people, all over the message boards, GSDCA WDA Facebook, Randy and I have been told this face to face by a couple people who were starting a new club. I really don't give a shit whether or not you believe me about it either.
Euro1 is right, Randy this is just you wanting to fight about politics, well not with me, I have much better things to do.
It's none of your business how many trials i will be entering but you can bet your ass I like not having to search far and wide for a trial with helpers who know how to catch working dogs. Or maybe I need a lot more trials because I actually want to trial more than 6 times a year without having to drive out of state. Wow, what a concept.
Good luck with your trial.

Euro1,
This thread is not about me....but, it is true I was once proud member of a USA Club. Of course you already knew that. I left for personal reasons concerning the direction of the club. USA also made it an easy decision. I have been to a national event as a particpant. Impressed? Unfortunatly I could never afford to fly around the country to vote for what I thought was right. Disappointed? Hell I could not even vote in my old club for what I thought was right let alone changing national policy, but you probably knew that also..............just sayin.
If you ask real nice I might tell you more about me

Thanks Sue,
Sue, this is "about the German Shepherd Dog ".......... Nothing on the green board to support your statement? I do enjoy politics and how it effects our day to day lives......... I will never hold your views against you as you have towards myself
Happy training and best wishes

You are such a jerk. Who said anything about the Green Board? Don't talk to me anymore Randy we have nothing to say to each other.

Politics politics politics can I say I HATE ALL politics.
Sue
I agree it’s about having fun with your dogs, training – trialing - showing. I’m having fun training again. Will I trial one of my own dogs Heck no to old (66) with to many aches & pains!! Besides my heart lays in the showing. Do I love a good working dog you bet, we have an 8 month old that shows real promise, hips & elbows have been pre-limed they look awesome. Fingers are crossed that we may have another Universal Siegerin in our future, one step at a time.
Happy training Sue, have you moved to WA State yet? Sue traveling to trials & shows lets you see lots of new parts of our country. Come on girl be adventurous, I’ve put 20,000 miles on the van I bought in July 2009. YIKES
Should not matter the organization DVG – USA – SV- WDA. Having fun with your dogs is all that matters.
Best of luck Sue & everyone
