Hi Anne Is there anyway people can write (email) these people? Maybe they can be bogged down with email from the dog public.

Hey k9nme, can you tell me how many dogs were euthanized in Los Angeles last year? Also while you are at it can you tell me how many dogs were euthanized in the United States last year?

There are too many idiots in this world who just refuse to do the right thing and that is why you need laws in this world to make them do the right thing.Too many dogs are being abused in the United States that uis the reality something must be done.

Also can you guys tell me the best dog this Anne has produced.I am pretty sure the best dog she ever had, was the one she imported from the Jabina kennel.

k9nme,i bet thet you do not know shit about dogs, and i also bet that some of the tough dogs that Ceaser deals with you would be so scared to go near you would run like a little girl, screaming every thing.

Sueincc, could you not use an easier word "obtuse".blunt in shape;(of an angle)more than 90degree but less than180 degree or slow at understanding.English is a freaking dumb language how one word can mean two totally different things wow. Have a nice one.

Honestly I find this news very disturbing! People do not realize what the ultimate goal of PETA and the HSUS is, and that is to eradicate domesticated ANIMAL ownership! They have already targeted dogs, if you think cats, horses, pigs, cows or any other domesticated animal is safe you are fooling yourself. They say these laws are to eliminate puppy mills, but if the people who had puppy mills cared about the laws in the first place, we would not be having problems with puppy mills. The same goes for those who are actively involved in dog fighting. The only people these laws hurt are those that are already following the laws. I do not live in CA. but I am a member of PetPac, and I have emailed every person I can and have signed every petition I have seen with regard to these laws. In fact if I'm not mistaken states and other countires that enacted BSL and mandatory spay/neuter later eliminated it as it made no difference, and the local shelters were over run with animals. So how exactly did this so called legislation help??? If you value your pets and your right to have a pet, you better start paying attention and at least stand up for something. If these people have their way you will no longer enjoy having a pet of any kind including fish!

This topic is too important and timely to fall off the first page. What happens in California is a harbinger for the rest of the country.

This same proposition is hitting all cities all over the usa...If allowed to go thru , there will be no more private kennels or breeders ,   not even talking about Puppy Mills..The law takes care of puppy mills....We are discussing,,,what is aimed at any KENNEL   any BREEDER . licensed or unlicensed.....the LICENSED ,,PERMITTED BREEDER is on the books..They have their name , address and phone number.. YOU abide or they come in , confiscate the dogs.,,look you in the eye, hand you a ticket , you wont be able to pay...and YOUR KENNEL JUST GOT CLOSED DOWN>>>>>

This   HELD
IS WHAT IT IS ABOUT>....HAS NOTHING to do with Puppy mills.....and as for  Ceasar MILAN..

DOES ANY ONE HERE KNOW WHO CEASAR MILAN  WENT TO MANY YEARS AGO TO LEARN HOW TO TRAIN OR CONTROL

A TOUGH DOG>??????     GIVE YOU THREE GUESSES AND THE FIRST TWO DONT  COUNT???

AND HE PAID FOR THOSE SESSIONS> He spend two different years going to  get taught how to control a tough dog..

There is no talking to these people..THey do there cohertion by letter and phone calls to city govermnent heads..IT is about   control from    ONE HUGE CORPORATE LIKE    HUNT  who owns PETLAND...THESE so called PET RIGHTS  advocates  want only one huge mass production done by  HEAD of THEIR MONEY INVESTMENT and done by   a WALMART FOR DOGS>>>not yet  incorporated or in orperation....

I think that gets the message over the best way I know how to express it  ..I talked to the secretary of the Mayor of Dallas when Dallas was entertaining this same bunch of people . SHe said that   most governmental Mayors offices and CIty Management know nothing of dog breeding..They just know when paper comes accross their desk of the numbers presented by AC

They rule by numbers and complaints and problems on paper.. The vast majority of breeders present at the meeting to protest,  very loudly informed this committee of people, that there are already many good laws on the books...THE problem is   , no one enforces them. IT got pretty heated and some men told city government  to get off their  ARSES and hire more AC people and enforce the many laws that are  already LAWS and to punish abusers of animals and fine the ones that are not abiding to the laws. PUNISH who needs the punishment..Law abiding breeders are not the problem

IT was Tabled for sometime in 2010.

YR,

Everyone learns from someone else,so what is your point. Was this your attempt to make Ceasar Millan look less capable of handling dogs? After all,he is doing better than the person he learned it from don't you think.

Also how many dogs this teacher of his, according to you, saving on regular basis. And can you share that with us.

US has got a major problem when it comes to unwanted dogs that is what should be on everyone's mind.Have a nice one.

Part of being or becoming a good trainer/handler is knowing your limitations and when to seek advice or assistance from someone else.   It is possible that Milan is great with the "average" pet dog running amuck, but a more serious dog with "issues" requires the expertise of someone more experienced with that type of dog/problem/breed, etc.   There is nothing wrong with going to someone else who might be better equipped to deal with a problem, due to experience.   Some schutzhund people  fortuante enough to have the access have had the sense to go to the "experts," when it comes to issues with the retrieve, because the bird-dog people wrote the book on the matter.
