Ladies, Have any of you tried an INVERSION Table?   I was having alot of siatica pain down my legs and in hip joints. x-rays found my pelvis cocked up a bit and 2 bone spurs on my spine( L-4-L5) all putting pressure on the nerves. I go to the Chiropractor about once a month for maintenance, but it got  bad enough that the adjustments just weren't helping my hips/legs. couldn't sleep without hurting, living on Ibproufen or aspirin. Last Christmas I bought myself an Inversion table and began using it twice a day for the 1st week, then once a day for the second week, now I use it about 3 times a week and it has helped my siatica and lower back pain ALOT!  I think it might be able to help some of you . I know there are some that take Glucosamine and Chondroitin to help the knee pain, they seem to think it helps.
I think this aging stuff stinks, but we keep going the best we can, and I hope you will all be able to keep going right along with those great dogs too.
Bonnie.

Well, I dragged my sorry ass to training today and had a great time. Started at a new club where both my dog and I are learning at BREAKNECK speed. Only three sessions and we have improved hugely. Maybe she'll have her one before I'm 75 and she's 15.

Missbeeb---My most sincere condolences on the loss of your 2 friends, Good luck & congratulations on your new friend, Jimmy.

Weezy- I can tell you about a little thing my brothers & I did to my mom when she was using her inversion boots, which hooked onto a bar across a doorway which she accessed from a tilt table....while she was hanging there, my brothers & I moved the tilt table out of her reach so she couldn't get down, as a joke....but then we went outside to play & forgot about her........oh my, were we in trouble! And feel guilty!!! My mom went on for weeks about the stroke she could have had from hanging there for ??? hours..... not one of my prouder moments....!!!!

I really want to start again with my girl Ansgar & with Beckett again....jackie harris

Misbeeb,
Sorry to hear about Buddy and Josh.  It's never easy to put a friend down, but you did the right thing.

I am very glad to hear about your new pup and so happy that you named him after me. I am honored, Jimmy must be quite the little firecracker.

Second GSD pup to be named after me in the past few months.  4pack won't name her kid after me, but I like GSD's named Jimmy.

OH MY!!!
I bet your mom was very mad at you Jackie! I don't have little kids to worry about doing that.  Its a wonder, your mom didn't hang you upside down for awhile. ;)

Miss Beeb, I too am sorry for your loss and hope your new dog will take you to great places!

Big thanks for all your good wishes and condolences.

Jim, He's as smart as paint, but more of a bugger than a firecracker... you know, if he shouldn't be doing it... he is!  Sueincc is right about the monster part... and he's a talker.  I think he picked this up from Josh; Josh was a big talker, always had something to say.

Missbeeb,  I am sorry too about your loss, I am sure Josh knew you in good paws with Jimmy.  Jimmy is a monster you say, well lets see some pictures :)  I lost a total of 65 lbs running after little Jami and am very fit now. I think you are going to have fun with Schutz . A good friend of mine has rheum. arth and I am a post during bite training for her. Her pup is getting huge and is now trying to muscle, more anti-inflams for me today :)))
Always,
Cee
