Mr Bond, I have never said I was going out of the breed, if that had been the case what the heck do you think I have been doing being Gen Sec for West Yks, as well as on the BC Panel etc being involved with the breed of German Shepherds isnt just about taking your dog to run around a ring you know, there is other work to be done, shows dont run themselves.
What I did say is that I had decided to stop showing (at least at UK shows as I had stopped enjoying them), and that James (shaken not stirred) is entirely two different things. And I have not yet attended a Championship show since the GSD League in June last year but of course if the breed attitude improves I may return, who knows, thats my perogative.
Hadnt realised so many of you cared so much or were so interested in what I decide to do or not do.

I am indifferent to the whole issue.

Split and I can still have GSD's and Alsatians. It is not like bigamy.

By whatever name I can still be an owner/breeder of both breeds or lines within a breed.

Why is there an issue? Why does a name matter much? Why does the original intent concern a name of a breed matter any?

The fact that you refer to ' both breeds' must surely tell you something.
