We are however very disturbed by the fact that not many from Scotland, Ireland or Wales have added their 2 pennyworth to the debate on the threads running at the moment re: the Split and the Liaison Officer. I think only a handful if that from Scotland have signed David's Ballot. It is pathetic, why is everyone so afraid to speak up, are they running scared that their closets will be looked into and many skeletons will fall out. My God, we need to get past this rubbish.
These isses are so important to us all and now that we have such a massive debate going on we need to get a move on with this. There is a Kennel in Scotland at the moment, new on the block in the last 2 years, that is NOT USING THE HEALTH SYSTEMS IN PLACE and these are the kind of kennels the KC needs to attend to, this is an issue that will come into the discussions with the KC at a future date. See the Haugmill Thread and Too Young to Breed From etc.
If we can get the discussions started it is then in the KCs hands to contact ALL AFFIX HOLDERS, ALL INDIVIDUAL GSD HOLDERS, ALL CLUB AND BODIES in the GSD Breed on both sides and BALLOT THEM ALL. If it comes down to MONEY in the end as it always does with the KC, then surely we have all paid enough Registration Money to them over all these years that they can well afford to USE OUR MONEY to deal with the issues and educate the public - they have the resources.
Another thing that is worrying is that the same people come on these threads, but only some discuss with each other and do no answer others views, is this selective by some or not????? No matter which part of the UK we come from if we have the balls to come on here and say our views then I think we are due to be included in the decision making too.
GOOD LUCK IN GETTING BRIAN WOOTON ON BOARD FOR THE JOB.
All the best
