Don't write us all off, Ulli- some of us hold to up to our principles and will continue to do so.

KC,

I am very well aware of this, and I bow to you for sticking to the standart. It just throws me of, how peopel throuw everything overboard so easily. Something that was develloped over a hundred years ago, mantained and improved - not that i am saying its perfect- always room for that - but a basic base beeing ignored, too sad.

No bashing intended, but your last "Sieger" was, to put it mildly, a disgrace to the efforts of many breeders among yourselfs. Peopel like Britt just ad to that, and that is what throws me of.

You guys have a good stock to work with, use it. Stop Morons like Brit, by not allowing their ltters to be registered and to pass on this ballony on to further generations.

Best to you Ulli

Another poorly thought out breeding.  The only concern is the size of the dogs head.  Join the rest of the backyard breeders on the board.  NO titles or hips, elbows certs. etc. etc.

Oskarl,  I believe that going by the SV rules for breeding here in Norhth America would be way too hard for all these people and it would cut out 95% of the breedings that take place...so it's much easier for them to pretend to care for the breed and then just do what they want with no regard to any guidelines except for the ones that suit them.  Sadly it will never change.

Chicki,

you have a good point. But, it also could be followed through. I am certain that many breeders do just that, following rules & guidelines because they are there for a reason. I perfectly know that it is much harder for you guys to follow SV standarts, because of your limited acces to clubs, trials, Kör events.

But I was always under the impression it should be more important to uphold the capability of our breed, than to boost our own ego. Dont get me wrong, I know that there is also a lot things going wrong here in Germany too. But the " Britt Factor " only adds to the problem, and not to improve the problem.

Regards Ulli

i have to agree with oskar and 4pack.britt has bashed others for years about their breeding practices, and subjected others to her outrageous opinions.so its time for a little well earned critisism!!!!

Brittany certainly deserves the negative comments she has recieved especially in light of the fact that she has spearheaded numerous attacks on people for doing exactly what she has done. I think the really guilty party to this fiasco is her mentor Miriam. Miriam sold her the long coated bitch Zambi and has allowed her to breed to her male. This is done by a woman who thinks of herself as a leader in the GSD world and has been an officer for National Organizations. Well Miriam SHAME ON YOU for not only encouraging this, but for being the main reason that it has actually happened. What some people won't do for a buck!

Brittany has held herself  out to be  the breed police.  Time and time again she has taken it upon herself to post  negative comments on certain dogs pages,  and castigated breeders who don't meet her exacting standards.   Of course let's not forget her moral outrage when people have started threads on this message board to SELL PUPPIES under the thinly veiled guise of being proud of what they have bred.   Finally, who can forget her disgust and anger at the breeder who would do such a poor job of breeding, that the puppy he stacked for a picture  looked "scared"?  Oskar is right, many, many people have been more than patient with Brittany, in the hopes that if the day ever came she decided to breed, she would breed a dog,  that  at least meets the minimum SV standards for breeding, certainly not Zambi, whom she can't even title.  How unfortunate that instead, she joined the ranks of the same people she professes to pass judgment on, backyard shitter breeders, has become yet another person who irresponsibly churns out puppies from stock that is "less than".

Brittnay on your advertisement you say this about Zambi:

"Zambi is currently my active working dog. Shes the best dog that I've ever worked with so far. She teaching me to be a better trainer and person. I don't think I could have gotten a better dog to start my training career with."

I realize that everybody is a little blind when it comes to their own dogs (a good enough reason alone for trials and shows!), but come on, even you must be able to see this is really  misleading.  We know what you are doing, you are using certain phrases that will make newbies think Zambi is a competition dog.  Why not be honest with prospective puppy buyers,  or are you afraid that you then wouldn't be able to sell any puppies?

Finally, about all your "comments" you post on different dogs pages.  Just stop.  What makes you think you are qualified to make any sort of critique about anyone's dogs?  Do you really think anyone sees you wrote that you like a dogs head, or you think the dog should have a better picture, or (funniest of all) you think a dog is a good worker, there is anyone who even cares or thinks "well there you go, if Brittany says so.....".

C'mon guys, was'nt Walter Martin's (Wienerau) foundation female "not recommended for the breed"? Look at what he accomplished....I'm just sayin' .....LOL

Yeah what did he exactly accomplish...care to share? IMO the Martin Brothers screwed this breed 6 ways from Sunday.
