If she can't handle her dog or her job, she shouldn't be on the streets. That's right, she's proved she shouldn't be. she's in jail where she belongs. Countless K-9 Handlers, men and women, go out and properly use their partners every single day. Again, provide some reporting...you choose the source.....on how Mohr was a good officer. You can't. She wasn't.

Illegal Aliens have NO Legal right sto be here, they shouyd have no civil rights once Here. End of Story. Period
Deport them or let the Mexican consulate deal with their problems
If they break the law once here, they should be locked up BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY, deported or shot

What department awards and commendations????? All I can find is reprimands, suits, lies to supervisors, and jail. Perhaps I need to say it again. CRIMINALS SHOULD GO TO JAIL. ILLEGALS SHOULD BE DEPORTED. That said, you finally nailed it--She was too gung-ho to be a K-9 Handler. Bite happy or Trigger happy have no place in law enforcement.

Oh, and read the FBI probe on that department and Mohr. Not all of her bites were on Illegals. All criminals should be prosecuted and jailed, and that includes Mohr. She's a criminal and she deserves to be in jail

gsdk9va , I am not hanging my hat on Ugly. I am hanging my hat on the fact she is in Jail, period. She was on duty, I want the police in my home area to feel free to protect me by any means they feel necessary without the fear of being jailed. If they "get out of hand" they should be FIRED, not jailed, not bought out, no pension, no golden parashoot.
The police are human, and they have fears just like the rest of us. Can you even think about pulling over a car and the windows blackend and can not see in or know what they are dealing with. I understand the "attitdue" they get after being on the streets for so long. It is hard not to when always exposed to the seedy side of life. It is a rare thing for them to keep liking the general public. I have run into a few jerks on the force and have wondered what the heck are they doing there, I think when you are under that much pressure (fear) daily, it does things to your mind and effects how you react to situations, again she should be fired, and/or mandatory help.

why must I side w/ criminals you say. well, I don't. is that child a criminal(see below)? her own department reprimanded her for this. this woman is shameful
"Mohr was briefly suspended for the incident with the neighbor child, and she was given informal counseling and a written reprimand for threatening to release her dog on a family that was cooperating with officers who were looking for a suspect"

Ugly now we see you true face, nothing else but another insecure redneck. LoL
Weather you American citizen, resident, illegal alien or a tourist you are granted the same set of laws and rights. No discrimination should be placed on where you coming from. That is the international law. She was the one that broke the law, at the time; she paid the price, same as should any person no matter of her/his status. You have no point like all racist pricks; they take content and mold it to fit their side of a story. You’re nothing else but insecure redneck; there are plenty of you around. Well at least this election no one was willing to side with your people, which is why Obama won, time to change has come, accept it or parish forever.

A neighbor child punk....where are the parents? Getting their drink on? Their buzz on?
Family cooperating...another 'threatening to release' to be decided & dealt with by the department. BFD
FBI probe. Give me a break. Those F' in guys cant find their asses from a whole in the ground.
The bites were On criminals, or in the process of Apprehending Criminals. Dogs can be a liability for a department. But they can also saves lives
Im just glad this Illegal, who has no business even being in this country, will be a millionaire soon and our taxes will pay for it.

1doggie2,
I agree with you. She should have been fired first, but she stepped over the line again-and-again. Look at all the fcts surronding this woman and her department. Most reasonable people don't want shy officers on the street, nor do they want gung ho officers going rouge. I don't want to lay in my hammock only to wake up to some nut-job having her dog eat my leg because some crime occured in the neighborhood and I was the only person she could find and she wanted her dog to get a "bite." Lots of cops k-9 and otherewise can do an outstanding job handling crime w/out unessary force. If you don't know when and how to use the appropriate level of force, then you shouldn't serve. it's obviously not for everyone.
Mohr crossed the line too many times and firing her was not sufficient. She needed to be jailed. Good cops have nothing to fear.

Doggie you right she is just human she made a mistake once she was forgiven, second time same but it took her 5 times to get it. Sorry she got what she deserved she pushed the enveloped, she was feeling too sure of her self above the law, and she got what she deserved.
yes, you do want you police feel secure, and protected when they perform their job, put at the same time they need to be aware of consequences of their action and that it all can and will be taken away from them, if the abuse it. That is how it should be.
