Wilson Pet Supply is a distributor for Royal Canin. They do not own them. Royal Canin is owned by M&M Mars. Wilson does not have the type of capital it would take to buy a company the size of Royal Canin.
Correction: Iams/Eukanuba was bought by P&G in 1999.

Been using Orijen for over a year now and can't say anything but what a great food it is for our 3 yr old female...The high protien content gives my girl all the energy she needs to run most of the day here down in Florida...Not to mention her gorgeous coat that barely sheds...I have found that i feed much less than I would have expected but over the year the dog determined what she would or wouldn't eat in a 24 hr period of time...We feed mostly at night to avoid any real activity once she has been fed, so bloat is something I've read about but never thankfully experienced...CORA is on the thin side because its summer here in Fla and it does get hot, her weight is 75 lbs and I give her 2 1/2 cups of Orijen a day which is all she will eat...I like to keep her around 80lbs most of the time where i think she looks great...
I know whatever i know from doing a lot of reading, listening to you all and trying some of the various brands that are talked about on a regular basis right here...I can talk dog food with most of you and probably have so as i always say; budget, availability, whatever...We do what we do and live with it...I chose Orijen because I think I'm giving my girl the best dry kibble i can...I always let the dog speak for herself...She is her in the database: Cora von Haus Winheim...
I'm usually around, have a greay night,
Rob

I have read everyones responces and I have a german shepherd, mali, rotty and a jack russel. All of these dogs are on Blue Buffalo fish and sweet potato mixed with raw. I have had my dogs on a number of different foods. Pro Plan, Iams, Science Diet, Pedegree, and a few others. Nothing has worked better for me then the Blue Buffalo. I have a boarding and training facility that has mostly German Shepherds come in. All of my clients have there dogs on this food mixed with raw and say there dogs are doing excellent. Plus it isn't $50 a bag. If you have a Petsmart by you and you sign up for the petperks card which is just a card where you get points on it and you get discounts when you reach a certain amount of points the bag coasts only $42 for 30lbs. Hope this helps you guys out.

I bought a bag of, Taste of the Wild today. I have read good reports about it on here and other sites. 42.00 for 30 lbs. They claim there are no grains in this food. Also suppose to be 70% meat content. I'll let you know how it works in 2 to 3 weeks.
