My male is quite slim and I wouldn't mind a few more pounds on him. But, he still looks good where he is now 80 to 81 very lean pounds. The most he's ever been was 83 and that was eating an aweful lot of food. My female is also quite slim but she totally changes her look whether she's in coat or out of coat. She's almost looks "chunky" in coat and emaciated out of coat, but the weight is exactly the same.

Yes Rezkat; Females can look so poor when all that beautiful hair sheds and they do look different... Here in TEXAS our seasons stay so hot one week and cool the next and back to hot the trees dont even have pretty golden leaves this fall ..some of the female hormones are messed up this year also.....my females shed ,got coated and then shed again.....and the rain comes and now we have a drought......another breeder in Dallas called me and his females are doing the same thing and half of his are not coming in heat on time either...and he notice the buds and the berries and leaves are all mess up color wise for fall......
I keep pics of my females taken at their heaviest with hair.....not so embarassing if someone says why is she so slim..?

LOL Yellowrose.
I had someone recently tell me, Gee she's really filled out! LOL. Said, no she's just in coat and when you saw her last she was bald.
