Keith

First, I didn't bring this thread back, Mike5 did.  Secondly, I wasn't on here for the past few weeks.  It is hard to respond when your not plugged in.  I only responded because I didn't want my response to be taken the wrong way like you have obviously done.    I am not the type of person that will make a comment and not be there when people respond.  I wasn't there to respond in a timely fashion when you and Mike addressed me, so I did it yesterday.  My apologies for having other things to do outside of internet discussions.

The rules do not say that you have to do exactly a 180 and drive, but how else do you safely catch a blazing fast malinois and go directly into drive?  Anything less than a 180 and that dog is either slower than a snail or a dog may get hurt.  Over a 180, we get back to doing the amazing helicopter catches that we have both agreed are nothing more than a novice spectator's wet dream.   I never said that he didn't safely catch all the dogs.  You need to read my first two posts.  I've asked you to do this three times now.  Either you don't feel like re-reading them or you don't comprehend what I wrote.

This is getting stale.  I would like to say you are a lucky man.  Sounds like you train with Armin, otherwise there is no way you could guarantee that you have seen him catch more dogs than I.    There's no way I would argue that point.

Let's just agree to disagree!  If we had a few beers in front of us, maybe it would be interesting, but I can't keep typing the same thing over and over.  If I ever run into you at a trial, I'll buy you a beer and we can continue.

Goodness gracious, this IS a tough place.  I'm going back to working on my grdaughter to jr handle in a few but wow.  I trained my RIP DVG Nationals dog with Armin several years ago in TN, and he qualified for both DVG and USA Nationals before I had to retire him with FGM.  Joanne Fleming gets a lot of credit for the first 3.5 yrs but Armin picked up and moved us forward.  I found him to be a gentleman in all senses of the word.  Along with James Laney. (who has the most adorable babies I've ever seen besides gr dau)...

I think y'all might just be a bit too honest for this old hen, off to my cross stitching and baby watching now.  Have a good one.

best, Janica  ps, CONGRATS Steve!!!!  getting my first mal pup in about 5 wks but who's counting, the 3 from OFK should be settled in their new home by then (lil homewreckers, em)
