puppies can be very hard to stack  some adults too :))    3 people are usually required to get a pretty decent stack with a very good expression in the face.  1 to stack 1 to thake a pic and a 3rd to get the dogs attention  with a toy  etc ....

here are pics where always 3 people are in the game  these pups just did not want to stand still so it took some time :))

This little bugger did not want to be stacked at all so I opted for this picture ;))

his brother did a little better but not by much :))

with sister #1 we are getting better :) still room for improvement

sister #2 well there we go a bit better :))

It should be fun showing pup #1 Evan and female #1 Eiwie at the show this weekend I sure hope they will stack up half way decent ....

Pia

I am impressed by your males ( females are nice) but looking more at the blockiness of the head on the boys, and love the dark faces.

I decided to try everyones suggestions, and take my first picture of Libby - stacked.  Please let me know what you think.  Yes, I know she is a bit "fluffy".  I have been working on reducing her weight for the past few months.  She has already lost 8 lbs.  She is six and loves to eat all the leftovers from the other two.  She wouldn't let me pull her back leg out.  Everytime I would go back to my camera she would move it forward.

i don't care if it's a proper 'stack' or not, i absolutly love the way she is standing! this is something i talked about before, to me having a dog in a extreme stack makes it look like a scared dog, like its gonna tuck tail and run but thats just MO....i like to see a dog standing tall, proud and sure of itself...and to me this dog is saying all of that...great job in my eyes...id frame that one!

seriously, i cant stop looking at that pic! maybe others will disagree with me, but the way this dog looks in this pic says alot about the dog to me....beautiful

Julie:

Thanks for your nice feedback and I love the colors on your Boss.  Since Libby knows the stand command from obedience - it is a bit easier to get her to hold still and I threw her toy in the direction to make her look that way.  I tried taking pictures of Falon my 4 year old gsd- but she wouldn't hold a nice position and the pictures did not turn out so well.  I will keep trying.  Thanks for your feedback.  I think I will use this one for her picture on the database.

Julie,

They are all good pictures, I think the one with you stacking him is a great one for the family album, I like the way he is looking directly into the camera. I don't know if I would use any of them for his pedigree picture though. Keep on keeping on you'll get the right one when you least expect it.

Very nice dog, enjoy him, love him and spoil him rotten like most of us do, LOL
