Working in hospice has taught me many things, but one thing stands out above all else....laugh now, laugh & love & play hard, throw yourself completely into whatever you do, don't give a damn what anyone else thinks about it....life is short & it can all change in an instant! These things sound cliche...but they are important! Hug your family & friends today--enjoy life! Our dogs teach us that lesson, too, live the way they do, wholeheartedly! (ya don't need to drink from the toilet, tho!) Sunshine, surround yourself with friends & positive people, & FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT! Find something every day that makes you laugh your ass off! Laughter releases chemicals in your body that can help it fight the cancerous cells, & boost your immune system, plus it feels good! Attitude is everything! If there is anything I can do for you, just let me know, I thought about you all night last night! I'm sending my prayers....but right now I better take my doggies out, or they'll whole heartedly crap on my floor! jackie osborne
