Great Pyrenees...My mother has them as pets and they are as gentle and laid back as anything.

Obedience fun dog- Aussie or Border Collie, at least one goofy blue eye.

House/lap dog- Skipperke

For about the last 15 years I have owned at least one American Pit Bull Terrier and have rescued and placed or kept literally dozens over the years (this is why I am so fanatical about hardcore obedience training and socialization!) Definitely a breed who needs a dedicated and responsible owner. I will always own one :-)

I have a wonderful male Saint Bernard. He just turned 2 in May. My gentle (dopey) giant

Two Boston Terriers..Absolutely my very favorite lap dogs!!!!!

hahaha, this is the actual living dog Sam, who won the Worlds Ugliest Dog contest a couple years ago.

and he DESERVED to win... I think it's a chinese crested, but that is just all sorts of wrong.

Beauceron.  They have a lot of the same qualities that the GSD does.
