"Why is X superior to Y?"

"It just is"

"Ok, but why is it superior?"

"Go read this."

"That doesn't say why X is superior to Y, more to the point you didn't explain it."

"I answered the question because I told you to go read a thing."

I see this time and again on this forum.  Someone asserts a claim.  Another asks "why?" and said someone continues to dance around the question with non-sequitur "answers".

Move on guys please.

actually a good human fighter does have the clarity to know when to move forward and when to move backward, it is about winning the fight not impressing the dullards in the stands that will never step up to the plate, that's why dullards  pay to watch.

a dog in high drive does not have a clear mind he fixed on what he wants thats why most people have to drag their dogs awayfrom the object .if you put a fighter in a ring without natural aggression all the will in the world wont bring him to the top a fighter will step back but will step back in just as quick because he not over takeing by fear he has fight drive to win it over shadowed u cannot hide anything  in a real fight dog or man

^ you do know that training and conditioning trumps any natural ability right, if you know anything about human fighting that will be a self-evident fact.

the only (humane) way to train and condition a dog to a high level is thru prey drive.

VK, unless the dog brings a natural, genetic ability, there is nothing to train, you CANNOT add something that isnt there already and that something happens when sperm meets egg.

oversimplification,  i was assuming a base line starting level.

how many people we all know that have purchased the super-ped puppy, filled the youtubes with crazy pup videos of their prodigy being swung up down and every which way on a sleeve and then never see or hear a dam thing about them again as the dog rots away into obscurity in a kennel someplace.

That has nothing to do with drives or nerves and its not part of this discussion.

i think it does, you can't talk about temperament or the "decline" of the breed without talking about training otherwise it is speaking into a vacuum.

This misperception that you cant get a prey dog to bite unless the decoy / perp is acting like prey is utterly false.
