Sorry, I will bore you Moons! You know my town was forced to cancel Halloween, already the past two years in a row! Damn... how can I get more boring at the same time, I am being such a pain in the ass!
Rain however, wouldn't be the deal breaker, here.

We had the Hurricane one year, and then that freak snow storm that took all the power out most of the town, for almost a whole week at time. That had never ever happened, in my lifetime here, and suddenly it happened twice in a row. The kids can't believe they are going to get to ring doorbells this year.

Plus in the inner city a gang war has been going on, but those people usually go to better neighborhoods anyway.
Here in the country few people come by, it's too far out for them, but we do have parties LOL
The parties for the kids are put on mostly by the churches..imagine that.
Thinking of gouda, hope he doesn't read this and start preaching again.
The adult parties are mostly in the bars and man is that a riot.

That's sort of what the town ended up doing... A party... something called, Trunk of Treat. They had everyone meet in the Park parking lot, and kids trick or treated from car to car. So at least they got to get dressed up and get candy and not get run over! Rain... though... we just put on layers, use umbrella's or hoped someone's parent would drive us around!
