78 was about the time I bought my first home, had my own construction company.
It's hard to remember much else, except the bottom was falling out of the building industry and gas went up.
My new truck was four years old already.

I think I was driving a 66 Mustang in 73, traded that for a Chevy Van which I lived in for a year..
I had some very good times in that van..:)

My X bought that car new in '73, but we didn't get married until '75. I learned to drive on that car, 5-speed on some of the steepest streets in the country. And yeah, I had lots of fun in that car too

Cute little cars, I've driven them but never owned one, the wife drove a Pinto when I met her it was fun to drive too.

My first car was a super sweet Pontiac Bluebird,,,I was always a muscle car fanatic !,,My dad had a 68 Camaro SS ~~loved that car, but I couldn't reach the clutch to drive it!!,,
I even had a powder blue leather jacket the same exact color !!,,Oh,,the fun!!,,
