How is it then that other countries who host the WUSV post the teams and dogs well before the event gets underway why should the USA be different. People going to the event will buy the program or brochure. they will need to if they want to keep up with the results.
Plus every team does not need to know who they are up against and no details will be sent to them they never are to my knowledge? Yes it shows you how much up together they are I tried to purchase several times a prepaid brochure to be sent to me AFTER the event was over as stated on the Website. they had the countries listed to use they would send the brochure to. But you try and purchase one not a chance unless you lived in the USA or Canada, It was less than a week ago i had an email saying that they had revised the site so you could purchase from another country. But what good was that then the cut off date for ordering  a brochure was 8th of last month. and i have the email to prove what i am saying is correct. Let us just say the right arm does not know what the left arm is doing and that is fact

If the list of competitors was really expected, it would have been posted by now. This is a WUSV event. I'm sure everything is being run to the WUSV standard. This isn't the first time the US has hosted this event you know. The WDA knows exactly how to do this and I'm sure they are doing it right.

The website is being updated. Keep checking for the most recent updates.

You can see the priorities. Updating is one. They have done a couple that contain important information recently. The updates all involve the closing ceremonies. Everyone will agree this information is important.

It specifically addresses the Raffle. Have you seen the crate being raffled? It's a really great crate. The WDA calls it a SUPER crate. Why worry about who's in the competition when there a chance to win a SUPER crate? The WDA had shown their ability to update the really important things. The most recent and second update reminds all those interested that advance purchase deadline is Oct. 4, but,,,You can buy raffle tickets at the event. This is really important stuff as you can see. The winner will be posted on the WUSV website.

Small point of clarification.  The last two WUSV Championships hosted in the United States were organized by the United Schutzhund Clubs of America.

This is the first time the GSDCA/GSDCA-WDA has hosted the event.

I still hear horror stories about 'Boston'.  However, that lesson was learned and a huge amount of planning and organization by experienced trial people -- many of whom were past international competitors, was put into the 2008 WUSV in Cincinnati.  By many accounts that one came off very well.

And, yes, the competitor lists were available long before the event.  And, no, no one really cared that much about selling programs or raffle items.

Why worry about who's in the competition when there a chance to win a SUPER crate?

heck, why even hold a competition? the SUPER crate raffle's universal importance is plenty of enticement and validation for teams across the world to make the trip and support raffle and program sales. i don't think it's even possible to deliberately disrespect the competing teams any more.

This thread is about one thing only and that is the lack of information on the competitors and there dogs i.e names of competitors and there Dogs. You deem it to be un important. Yet for the people like myself who live in another country it is ALL important even to the Guys in the USA who cannot get to the event; How do you rate the competitors and the dogs as un Important without them the event cannot take place. If you have so much to say and know so much then tell the powers to be to pull there fingers put and get the bloody lists of the Handlers and Dogs on the website, It is far over due. and as for the Crate you think so important let the ones who go to the event to buy tickets for it Outsiders like myself cannot buy tickets for this great crate of what have you. i could not even buy a damn brochure of the event even though they put it on that we could. then they tell me some three weeks later when it is too late they have amended the website to allow us to buy one but the time had then run out. Yes, it has been organized very well

this thread is really bringing out some shit personality types. i have been on teams of volunteers to create many not for profit community events. it is always the same people putting their hand up to do the work and always the same sad asses that do nothing other than complain about any minor detail they find not to their personal satisfaction.

how about just SFU - i don't know why the organizers are withholding certain info, they may have their own good reasons or they may not.

the moaners and whiners should try contacting them and offering your assistance in any way you can help out, lead, follow or get the F out of the way.

dog1 don't waste another breath trying to defend this - it doesn't matter.

what a great opportunity  for US peeps to be involved in such a prestigious event - good luck and hope it goes well and thank you for all the thankless work on behalf of dogs, competitors and spectators.

i do not even like IPO.

I don't know if this helps, but I'll be showing my Cak vom Blupill. He is a hard. I just hope our performance satisfies.

Not really sure why there is such an uproar. Most notable countries and teams are known. Sure it is lazy, but so are my eyes. I'm not gonna cry.

No one is crying, It is just annoying not to know who is competing It is part of the of the event for those really interested in it and follow it each year. Without the competitors and dogs to be seen the event has lost its standing. It is not the competitors who want to know. it is Joe Public who wants to know who is competing. without names the event is worthless to them they cannot follow nothing. No good when the competition starts and the scores come in that is if they bother to put them on the website pehaps that will not be thought as being needed as well.

According to the page on the USA WUSV website it says on there for Comments, Suggestions or Questions to contact the Web Master and this is what i have done regarding the lack of info on the Handlers and there Dogs being displayed on the WUSV site where it is done by every country every year the event is held. the correct way of doing it.

Tell me, how do people who live 1000,s of miles away help with the organization of such an event,it is not possible and you know that any offers would be declined and told rightly so to keep out of it. You are talking Crap as per usual If you were that interested in the IPO sport you would be fighting your government for the right to take part. But instead you talk a good fight but curl up when it comes down to it. Get your own lot in order before shouting down the likes of some of us Guys asking for a simple thing to be done, which should be done as a matter of course and only logically expect the information to be on the website long before this time. You do not like IPO Yet you mess about with a sleeve on your Dog which has no idea as to why it is being done to it, nor does the owner by the look of the pic,s, so you says one thing but means another. and if you really are not into the IPO sport then why comment on this thread in the first place
